The next several weeks passed by fairly quickly. Y/N finished her book and the people at the publishing house, especially Taehyung, were ecstatic. There were 50,000 preorders for hard copies and Jimin decided to take Y/N out for dinner to celebrate. Although she balked at first, Jimin insisted on paying since he was making money at the cafe. Eventually, Y/N relented and they had a nice meal together, Jimin's pride at being able to treat his girlfriend to dinner almost tangible.

Later that evening, they were lying in bed together. Y/N was giggling at Jimin's sleepy smile and the droopy eyes that kept wanting to close. Jimin had spent the last hour showing Y/N how much he loved her and how proud he was of her. His talented tongue and fingers continuously amazed her and Y/N blushed when she thought about how much Jimin seemed to enjoy making her moan his name.

The next morning, Y/N woke up with a sick feeling in the pit of her stomach. She pulled herself from Jimin's arms and barely made it to the bathroom in time before losing her dinner from the night before. Jimin heard the sounds and came in, pulling Y/N's hair out of her pale face. Y/N closed the lid and laid her head on the cool surface, hiding her face in her arms. "Please go away kitty," she moaned. "I don't want you to see me like this."

Jimin damped a cloth with cool water and wiped her sweaty face. "Baby, I'm not going anywhere," he insisted. "With everything you've done for me, I'm not leaving you, especially when you're sick."

Y/N flushed the toilet then stood and brushed her teeth, getting rid of the nasty taste in her mouth.

While Y/N was washing up, Jimin went into the kitchen to make her breakfast. When she came in, he set a cup of coffee and toast down in front of her. Y/N lifted the coffee to take a sip, but made a face at the smell and quickly set it back down. The smell of the coffee made her stomach turn again.

Jimin noticed her disgusted face then poured her a glass of milk. Y/N's face scrunched up at the milk. "I hate milk," she said.

Jimin laughed at her response. "You have to drink something baby," he encouraged her.

Y/N picked up the glass and tentatively took a sip, the cold liquid tasting refreshing and delicious. Her eyes widened and she gulped down the contents, wiping the remnants from her lips then set the empty glass next to her plate.

Jimin laughed again. "I thought you hated milk," he asked, a dark eyebrow lifted in question.

Y/N looked at him in confusion. "I do. I don't know why that tasted so good," she said, shrugging her shoulders. Y/N picked up her toast and took a hesitant bite, hoping the nauseous feeling wouldn't return. She sighed in relief when her stomach stayed settled.

Jimin looked at the clock. "I've got to get ready for work. Are you going to be okay alone?" he asked, worry filling his voice.

Y/N nodded. "I'll be fine," she said. "I feel better already."

Jimin smiled and bent down to kiss her then rubbed his nose against hers. "Okay baby," he replied after studying her face, noticing the color had returned.

Before Jimin left for work, he made Y/N promise to call him if she felt sick again. Y/N assured him she would be fine.

The morning passed quickly while Y/N worked on her new book. Around lunchtime, Y/N headed into the kitchen looking for food. She opened the cabinets to make ramen, but noticed a can of tuna instead. She always kept some on hand for Jimin and her brother because they both loved the stuff. Y/N took the can down and made herself a sandwich, along with another glass of milk.

After lunch, Y/N headed to the grocery store to stock up on a few things. She filled her cart with items to make for meals, along with snacks. She added two gallons of milk and a dozen cans of tuna. After checking out and bagging her groceries, she loaded everything into her car and headed home.

That evening, Y/N made pasta for her and Jimin. She felt much better and was sure the illness had passed.

Unfortunately, Y/N woke up sick again the next morning and several mornings after. She didn't understand what was going on. She would throw up in the morning but then feel fine the rest of the day.

Jimin was getting more and more worried as the days went on. As he was kissing her goodbye before heading to work one morning, he brought up his concerns. "Baby I think you should see a doctor," he pleaded.

Y/N nodded in agreement. "If I'm not better in two days, I'll make an appointment," she said.

"Promise?" Jimin asked, holding up his pinky.

"Promise," Y/N replied, hooking her pinky around his.

That afternoon, Y/N visited Hoseok at the hybrid shelter. It had been a few weeks since she had seen him and she missed her friend.

When Y/N arrived at the shelter, she noticed Yoongi leaning over the receptionist desk talking to Hoseok. He turned as Y/N entered and blushed.

"Hi Hobi," Y/N called out.

Hoseok stood up and came to hug her. "Hey kiddo. Haven't seen you in a while," he said, flicking her forehead.

Y/N rubbed her shoulder and punched him in the arm. "I've been busy," she explained. Y/N turned to Yoongi. "Hi Yoongi. You adopting a hybrid?"

Yoongi shrugged then mumbled an excuse about having somewhere to be and hurried out. Y/N watched his hasty exit over her shoulder. "That was strange," she said, turning to Hoseok, who was watching the other man's exit with a flush on his honey skin. Y/N decided not to push the issue and left it alone.

Hoseok threw an arm around her shoulder. "How you feeling? Still sick every morning? Jimin told me when I went to the cafe yesterday," Hoseok said, laughing at Y/N's confused look.

Y/N nodded. "Yeah. It's weird. I'm only sick in the morning," she shrugged. "I've also been going through milk like crazy. I hate milk."

Hoseok looked around the room to make sure it was empty then leaned in close. "Y/N are you intimate with Jimin?" he asked, a curious thought flashing through his mind. At Y/N's blush, he laughed. "I'm going to take that as a yes."

Y/N's blush deepened. "What does that have to do with anything?" she asked.

Hoseok motioned for her to follow him into the office. "Y/N I need you to trust me," Hoseok said.

Y/N looked nervous at his serious face. "Okay, but what's this about?" she asked, worry filling her mind.

Hoseok shut the door then turned to Y/N. "I want to give you a pregnancy test."
