One year later...

"Jiminie why are you so nervous?" Jungkook asked the anxious cat pacing back and forth in front of him in the small room off to the side of the church sanctuary.

Jimin ran his hand through his black hair. "What if she changes her mind? What if she really doesn't want to marry me? What if her parents decide they don't like me after all? What if she doesn't love me?" he asked frantically.

Jungkook put a hand on the shoulder of the older man. "Y/N loves you. So much. She would never do anything to hurt you. Do you really think she would walk out on you?" Jungkook asked.

Jimin buried his face in Jungkook's shoulder, his breath coming in heaving pants. "I just love her so damn much, JK. I want to be with her for the rest of my life," Jimin whispered quietly.

Jungkook pulled back. "I'll be back in a few minutes," Jungkook muttered. "I think I know what you need." Jungkook left the room, closing the door behind him.

Jimin sat down in a chair and buried his face in his hands and thought back to the last whirlwind year. Shortly after finding out she was pregnant, Y/N had introduced Jimin to her parents and brother. Her parents had been supportive of their relationship from the beginning. Jimin had sat drinking whiskey with her father, pouring his heart out to him about how much he loved his daughter.

When Mina was born, Jimin sobbed in Y/N's arms. His beautiful daughter couldn't have been more perfect. She had Jimin's hybrid features, soft white ears and a tiny tail. She had jet-black hair and Y/N's whiskey colored eyes. She was beautiful and she was his.

Jungkook came back into the room, holding 4 month old Mina in his arms. He handed her over to Jimin, who took his baby girl, tears flowing down his cheeks. "You're so beautiful baby girl. Just like your mama," he said, pulling her close and pressing a kiss to her tiny forehead. Jimin turned to Jimin with tear streaked cheeks. "You're right. I did need this."

Jimin and Jungkook both turned when a knock sounded on the door. Jungkook opened it to Lenore, Y/N's mom. "Hey Jimin, Jungkook. Just coming to take Mina since its almost time," she said.

Jimin kissed his baby daughter one more time before handing her to Y/N's mom. "See you soon princess," he said.

Lenore watched Jimin with his baby daughter. She had supported the relationship between Y/N and Jimin from the beginning. Watching Jimin with Mina, she knew she had made the right decision. She leaned over and kissed Jimin's cheek. "Wait until you see your girl," she said with a smile. "She looks beautiful and she can't wait to see you soon!"

Jimin blushed and smiled sweetly at her words. She must have known he was nervous and tried to calm his fears in the best way possible. Lenore smiled at the boys and left the room, closing the door behind her.

Jungkook looked down at his watch, a present from Jimin when he asked him to stand up next to him. "It's time Jiminie," he said.

Jimin took a deep breath and nodded. He followed Jungkook out of the room and took his place near the altar, with Jungkook next to him, and looked out at all the people who had come to watch the two pledge their love to each other.

Taehyung was sitting in the second row, looking handsome in his suit. He smiled at Jimin before winking at Jungkook. Jungkook blushed at the wink then looked down at his feet. Things had worked out between the two and they had never been happier.

Jin and Namjoon were seated next to Taehyung. Namjoon had his arm resting on the back of the pew behind the beautiful man next to him, playing with the hair at the back of his neck.

Behind them sat Hoseok and Yoongi. That was a relationship that no one had expected. Hoseok's bubbly personality seemed to contrast with the fox's grumpy demeanor, but they seemed to balance each other out. When Yoongi caught Jimin's eyes, he gave him a bright gummy smile that made Jimin giggle out loud. Yeah, Hoseok and Yoongi were just right for each other.

When the first notes of music came through the speakers, Jimin turned his head toward the door. Y/N's mother made her way down the aisle, cradling Mina in her arms. There was a chorus of awes through the crowd at the sight of the tiny sleeping hybrid.

Y/N's friend, Joy, followed, wearing a dark blue gown. She caught the eye of Y/N's brother and winked sassily at him. Jimin didn't have time to think about what that meant before the music changed. The doors opened and Jimin's heart stopped.

Standing next to her father in a beautiful white gown, stood the love of his life. Every worry, every concern Jimin had disappeared the moment his eyes met hers. The love and adoration that he had grown so used to was shining in her eyes. When Y/N saw him standing at the altar, her face lit up with a smile bright enough to drown out the sun.

Y/N slowly made her way up the aisle, keeping her gaze locked on Jimin. When she reached his side, he put out a hand for her. She put her hand in his and he brought it to his mouth and kissed her fingers.

Y/N's dad, Daniel, bent down, kissed Y/N's cheek and whispered to the pair. "Love you both," he said before taking his seat next to her mother.

Y/N turned back to Jimin, her eyes on him while the ceremony began.

The ceremony passed quickly and before Y/N knew it, she heard the words, "You may kiss the bride."

Jimin turned her to face him, stroking a finger down her cheek, before pulling her close into him. He pressed his full lips to hers, angling his head to better access her sweet lips. Y/N's arms went around his neck as she pulled him close. For a moment, they forgot where they were and were caught up only in each other.

Jimin pulled back first, looking into her whiskey eyes. "Baby I love you. So damn much," he whispered, rubbing his nose against hers, making her giggle.

Jimin kissed her quickly again before taking her hand and leading her back up the aisle to cheers and applause from friends and family. His mind was filled with thoughts of her. He was so lucky to have chosen her deck to hide under. To come back to her after the attack in the alley. He knew he had made the right decision to trust her that night. He would forever be grateful that Y/N had taken the chance on a dirty, half-breed.
