The next morning, Y/N woke up early to make breakfast for Jimin before his first day of work. After the table was set, Y/N went and sat on the edge of the bed. She ran her fingers through his hair then softly stroked the base of his ears. "Kitty," she said softly. "It's time to get up."
Jimin slowly opened his eyes. His perfect lips curved in a soft smile when he saw Y/N sitting in front of him. "Morning baby," he said, his voice husky with sleep.
Y/N's heart melted at his still sleepy smile. "Come eat breakfast and I'll drop you off at work," she said, leaning down and kissing his cheek.
Jimin closed his eyes for a second. "Okay, but Jin is picking me up," he informed her. "Since we're working the same shift, he offered to pick me up and bring me back home."
Y/N's heart broke a little at the information, but she nodded and went into the kitchen to pull herself together. Since Jin would be taking Jimin in, it would limit the time they could spend together, but she had to admit it did make sense. Y/N was standing in the kitchen when Jimin came down dressed for work. He had on tight black jeans and a long sleeve black shirt. He was rolling up the sleeves as he walked into the room. He came up behind Y/N, wrapping both arms around her waist and kissing her cheek. She turned in his arms and pressed her lips to his. "You look good," Y/N said, pulling back a little.
Jimin flushed at her words. "You always look good," he said, tugging her back into his arms and deepening the kiss, knowing he could never get enough of her lips.
Y/N gave him one more quick peck on the lips then pushed him back. "Sit down kitty and eat your breakfast," she directed him, pointing to the chair. Jimin rolled his eyes at her bossy demeanor but did what she said anyway, a smile gracing his lips at the sweet way she wanted to take care of him.
Shortly after breakfast, Jin arrived to take Jimin to the cafe. He hugged Y/N and kissed her lips before heading out the door, whispering "I love you" against her hair.
Y/N shut the door behind him then turned around and looked at the empty house, her previously happy attitude fading a bit. It was quiet without Jimin's sweet voice and cute little giggle filling up the house. Namjoon, who had fallen asleep on the sofa after hanging out with Jin, had left early this morning to head to the studio to work on some new music. Y/N went into the kitchen and cleaned up the breakfast dishes. She made herself another cup of coffee and started up her computer.
Y/N was almost finished with her latest book and Taehyung was getting anxious to read the last few chapters. The morning passed pretty quickly despite the quietness of the house. Shortly after noon, Y/N went into the kitchen to make herself some lunch. She wasn't really hungry so she settled for an apple and a few slices of cheddar cheese, knowing she needed to eat something. She brought a bottle of water back to her computer and settled down again.
When Y/N looked up again, it was just after 4. Y/N hurriedly pushed back from her computer and rushed into her bedroom to brush her hair and touch up her makeup. Jimin would be coming home soon and she wanted to look pretty when he walked in the door. A short while later, Y/N heard the key in the door that she gave Jimin and then heard his voice call her name.
Y/N stepped into the living room to find a smiling Jimin. The edges of his hair were damp and he looked a bit tired, but he looked happy.
Jimin pulled a handful of money out of his pocket. "Look baby!" he said happily. "Jin has me working as a server instead of working behind the counter. Along with my regular paycheck, I make tips from customers!
Y/N noticed a crumpled up napkin fall to the floor. She picked it up and unfolded it. A pang of jealousy hit her in the chest when she saw a girl's name and a phone number, the issue with Lisa coming back and hitting her right in the face.
