Aarushi was finally discharged from the hospital after staying there for almost one week. Ahaan arrived at the hospital on time to pick them up. He enquired about her health condition from the doctor and helped them to complete the discharge formalities.
Both Vikram and Jyothika were not much happy at his presence but they didn't express it for the sake of Aarushi. After completing the payment, he drove them towards their house. On the way, Vikram and Jyothika remained silent not responding to Aarushi's conversations. Ahaan realized that something is wrong with her parents but he decided not to ask them in front of her. After reaching home, Jyothika instructed Aarushi to take rest while Ahaan helped Vikram to carry the suitcases. When Jyothika and Aarushi went to their rooms, Ahaan went near Vikram.
"Uncle..."
"Yes Ahaan."
"Is everything okay?"
"Yeah why?"
"I have been noticing you and aunty from the day of the accident. After meeting my parents, both of you are not in a good mood. Did they say anything bad?"
"No Ahaan. We just had a formal talking. Nothing else. Did they ask you anything?"
"No uncle. And I am really sorry. They didn't come to meet Aarushi. I think you and aunty expected them."
"It's ok Ahaan. They have their own life to look after. I am not upset with them. Leave it."
"Ok uncle. I just asked only."
"Anyway thanks for helping us Ahaan. You may leave now. Your parents might be waiting for you."
"Ok uncle. If you need my help don't hesitate to contact me."
"Sure Ahaan. Bye. Take care."
Vikram hugged Ahaan and blessed him.
"Bye uncle."
"Bye dear."
Vikram stood near the gate and saw the car disappearing at the turning to the junction. Vikram sighed and thought to himself.
"Please God give him strength to accept the truth."
"Mom where is dad?" asked Ahaan.
"He might be there in his office room. Why?"
"I just want to talk to you both. It's very important."
Neela gave a puzzled look at him.
"Ok Ahaan. I will come now. You go up."
Ahaan went from there while Neela continued her work in the kitchen. After sometime, she completed everything and closed the kitchen door. That moment she heard Ahaan raising his voice at Jayshankar. She got worried and immediately went upstairs.
