"Good evening ladies and gentlemen,
A warm welcome to all.
I am so happy to see you gathered here to celebrate this day with our newly wedded couples. We know that this is the most important day in their life.Today morning we witnessed the two people becoming one. We saw them promising each to be there till their last breath. Two families had tears of happiness and joy seeing their beloved children getting married.
I am not making you bored with a long speech. And let me introduce myself. I am Jhanvi Oberoi daughter of Jagadeep Oberoi and Neeti Oberoi and sister of Ahaan Oberoi.
So without wasting the time, let's start the reception. Let's invite the stars of this day.
PUT YOUR HANDS TOGETHER FOR Mr AND Mrs AHAAN OBEROI..."
Ahaan and Pallavi appeared that moment and walked towards the stage holding the hands of each other. It was their special day, the day they got married. Pallavi glanced at her husband, her better half and smiled. Ahaan smiled back.
They were followed by their parents and relatives. Jhanvi blinked at the couples when they came on the stage. She side hugged Pallavi and gave a hi-fi to her brother.
"So here they are... I request you both to take your seat."
Ahaan and Pallavi sat together still holding their hands. They want to be romantic but they made up their mind to control it till the end of the function.
"First of all congratulations Ahaan and Pallavi. I can see how much thrilled you are. Finally, I got a sister and Pallavi is the new member of our family and we welcomed her with so much pleasure. I love you both."
Pallavi gestured a thank you to Jhanvi while Ahaan had a smile of happiness.
"I know you all are aware of the complete details of them but since it's my duty, I can't keep it incomplete. First a brief introduction of the groom Ahaan. He is the only son of Jayshankar Oberoi and Neela Oberoi. Ahaan works as a cardiac surgeon at JJ HOSPITAL for the past 3 years. He did his MBBS and P.G from St. Peters Medical College, Mumbai. His father Mr Jayshankar Oberoi is a businessman and he owns the OBEROI CONSTRUCTIONS. His mother Mrs Neela Oberoi is a housewife. Ahaan always said that he is so proud of his mother for being a housewife coz she could spend more time with him and made him a successful person in his life. He considers Jayshankar chachu as his friend and those who know them very well adore their bond. They are so proud to have a son like him and he is also proud to be born as their beloved son. So now I welcome Mr and Mrs Oberoi onto the stage."
The crowd applauded for them. They stood near Ahaan. Jayshankar patted his back and the couples smiled at them.
"Now let's get to know about Pallavi Ramachandran, the bride. She is the daughter of Ramachandran Menon and Harleen Ramachandran. She has a younger brother Anurag who is a software engineer at MBC, Chennai. Pallavi is working as a journalist at FINAL EDGE for the past 2 1/2 years. Completed her degree and P.G from AVC COLLEGE, Kerala. Her father Mr Ramachandran Menon is a bank manager at HFC BANK. Her mother Harleen Ramachandran is a housewife. So Pallavi is half Malayali and half Punjabi. I think Ahaan will learn a South Indian language from her. We are happy to get her as Ahaan's wife. They are lucky to have each other. So I invite Mr and Mrs Ramachandran Menon onto the stage."
Pallavi smiled at her parents when they stood beside her.
"Next we will allow the bride and groom to speak about each other. So first I handover the mike to Pallavi. Pallavi please come..."
