After one week Vikram and Jyothika came back to their apartment. They didn't bother to inform the Oberois about this. They wanted to be alone without any family member or any of their acquaintances.
One morning Jayshankar came back after jogging. He saw the security reading the newspaper. He folded it and stood up when he saw Jayshankar.
"Good morning sir."
"Good morning Ramesh."
"Sir, great news. My daughter got admission for CA. She called me yesterday evening to tell this."
"Wow! Great. Congratulations to her. You are working for your family's happiness. So your daughter won't disappoint you."
"Yes sir. I am so proud of her. She understands my situation."
"God has blessed her Ramesh. She will achieve her goal."
"I wish it happens by God's grace. By the way, how is Vikram sir?"
"Vikram? He and Jyothika are still staying with Jyothika's family. Why?"
Ramesh frowned and looked at their balcony and then at Jayshankar.
"They came here two days before. You didn't come to know that?" asked Ramesh.
"What? Are you serious?" Jayshankar was surprised to hear about their arrival. He then looked at their balcony.
"Yes sir. I only saw them. They came around 11:30 at night. I thought they informed you."
Jayshankar thought for a second.
"No Ramesh. I called them the day before yesterday and Vikram told me that they are coming back after one week only."
"Oh ok, sir. They both didn't talk much. I think they don't have the strength to face others. Now everyone knows about their baby's death."
"I am still sad Ramesh. They were hoping for a colourful life with their newborn but it wasn't destined."
"I know it, sir."
Both of them didn't talk for a second and just then Jayshankar looked at his watch.
"Ramesh I need to go. I have an urgent meeting. That's why."
"Today also?"
"It's very important."
"Ok, sir."
