Help me Father to receive this nail
O help Me to be strong
May My pursuit for love, not fail
Forgive them for their wrongs

Remember Father, the prayers that I have cried
Grant Me Your grace to bear all shame
I trust that in My Death, You will make them alive
Your Will be done, that the nations be saved

In Your mercy, Father, hear My plea
Remember Your Son and look on His need
As My life and blood from My flesh flow
May it wash their hearts as white as snow

Help me Father, I cry
To be strong
Through My Death, make alive
And right these wrongs
Help me Father to receive this nail
For Our love for them cannot fail

Father, Your promises they have heard
But they still rebel against Our Word
Repeatedly, Our love they have spurned
May it be that through this sign of Love
They will be saved and turn

Father, help Me to embrace the cross
And to bear all their trials and pain
That through My Death
They will no longer be lost
But look to Me and be saved

Father, I will stay to fulfill this call
O give Me strength for I am weak
Help Me to be strong in what We seek
That Our Love may finally break this wall

O Father, help Me! The pain, the pain!
I bear their every reproach and shame!
Grant Me Your grace to take this nail
That Our love for them shall surely not fail!

Remember O God, their frame
Remember that they are but dust
I commit Myself to Your Name
And in Thee, do I trust

My heart will be glad
And My glory, rejoice
For My flesh also will rest in this hope
For You will not leave
My soul in Hades
But the path of life, You'll show

Through My loneliness, may they no longer be alone
Surely, this cup is full of bitterness and despair!
Open their eyes through My death and life
That You are their Father; the One who is there

I want to be strong and continue to the end
But O, how bitter and terrible is this cup!
May all be fulfilled; for it was this that I was sent
That they may be given the gift of Our Love

Precious in Your sight, Father
Is the death of Your saint
Surely through so terrible a death
A glorious tapestry You will paint!

God's strength shall shine forth from weakness
O deliver Me in My distress!
Yet I will lay down My life in Your hand and meekness
That their sins may be removed
As far as the east is from the west

From My body and My sides
From My hands, My life flows
Look to Me and be saved
Trust in Me for you will not be put to shame

Those who trust and seek My Face
By My Love, I will make you whole
My blood shall wash your sins away
And cleanse your heart as white as snow

I know your life and your name
And see and remember that you are frail
But I will gladly take your sin, woe, and shame
For My Love for you shall never fail
Father, fulfill it now
I will take their place and nail
