"Hey...hope you're doing okay - miss you"

At least I know you're okay. Unfortunately my anxiety has less optimistic outlooks than I do - It makes me wonder whether or not you're truly alone. All you had to do was light my phone up. Speculation dies out when the speculator has nothing to speculate about.

~Like a lighthouse I've been shinin' bright in the dark for the both of us~

You're right there - right on the other side of that message but it feels like you're a billion light years away. I can tell by the way you type that you're not okay but yet you still have nothing to say. All I want is to fall in deeper but you barricaded my only way in. So much beauty just out of reach. I can handle your heart babe - you just have to give me the chance to.

~I don't want to find out how much loneliness I can take before you lose me~

I gave you everything I had - we both know you honestly can't say the same for yourself. I know I had to say goodbye - It's just not enough, though I sure as hell wish it was. I didn't want to lose you. I miss you and wish it had worked out for the better. If I had the chance to go back and do it again I would - even though i know we'll break up in the end.
