Creative Writing: The Python With Blue Eyes

You've probably heard that somewhere before. Usually in a way of describing something that's incredibly unstable.

That's not what it means today.
Today it's describing a being that is so incredibly over-stable that they became dangerous. This being is referred to as "The Python With Blue Eyes".

The Python is widely known for its silent strikings. A being so in control of their transport that they remain virtually undetectable.

This blue eyed enchanter is the nicest being you'll ever come into contact with. You would never suspect the fangs behind the smiles or the malice behind the sweet remarks. If anything you would more than likely chalk The Python up to being as harmless as a sand boa.

This simple mistake can and will cost you your life.

People marvel at The Python and it's cunning facades. They never seem to learn from the mistakes of the others. The humans continue to trust the untrustworthy. They only ever see the beauty - feeling that magnetic force that shields them from seeing the danger. The python uses this to its advantage, time and time again.

There are very few chosen ones that will never be in danger around this silent striker. This chosen are tested by The Python. If they are strong enough to withhold the blows then they are in turn protected by The Python.

Some believe they deserve this protection. They don't understand the hatred the blue eyed serpent has for false sense of pride. So, they are welcomed into the "object of affection" that The Python holds sacred.....only to be tortured and burned harder than anyone else.

These people who made it out alive bear the burden of humiliation- commonly being waved off when they try to warn of the danger of "the gentle giant with no remorse".

In rare cases, the python may make itself known on purpose. It will drop the facade and show, what others assume is "the full extent of the danger that lies beneath". Once again, they are mistaken to assume this. The python only ever does this to size up the prey more thoroughly.

Humans remain oblivious to The pythons power. This being, in such control of mind-over-matter that it could easy obliterate all of them without a second thought.

So, Heed my warning. Beware of The Python With Blue Eyes. For it may cost you your sanity.
