You look happier,
I'm glad you do.
I know they're so much better for you,
But dammit...I'm still in love with the idea of you.
You know I never meant to hurt you,
I just wanted to avoid the truth,
And so did you.
They all said that I was better off without you,
All I do is smile and try to hide the truth,
Because I know I was happier with you.
Now I just sit in my room,
Thinking of all the hours I've spent without you.
I keep trying to move on from you,
But I was happier with you.
