Mia and Junaid hardly got time to hang out with us, since their syllabus got the better of them. The two of them were always stuck in the library after classes, and soccer practice kept Mandy occupied. I therefore, was left to binge watch web series on Netflix most of my evenings.

I still felt like retching whenever I spotted Avinash with Damini. It was a relief she was not in our class. Avinash had proposed to start studying together from next week, once his soccer practice lightened. He was diligently trying to improve himself in his academics. I ardently hoped that Damini wasn't going to accompany us during our studies.

It was around six in the evening and I was engrossed in Emma Stone's journey in 'Easy A' when I received a Whatsapp message from Junaid.

Junaid: Meet me at the paradise. Keep Brute quite.

I was a little perplexed, nevertheless followed his instructions. It was chilly outside and I repented not wearing three sweaters instead of two. I was nearly there when a hand clasped over my mouth and pulled me behind a tree.

"Shhhh" Junaid put a finger over my lips.

"Whaat..." I whispered, bewildered.

"Look" he whispered back. Brute was not being cooperative since he desperately he wanted to go to the wooden hut. I looked at where Naid pointed. It was difficult to make out anything properly in the dark. Once my eyes adjusted to the black curtain of the night, I could figure out two shapes sitting on the jetty.

"Mandy and Natasha." Junaid whispered smiling.

"Oh my god," I whispered back, surprised "when did that happen?"

"Probably not yet," Junaid said quietly. "I don't think they have expressed their feelings for each other. Knowing Mandy, he probably hasn't realized it yet." Junaid chuckled. He placed his elbow on my shoulder.

"Here she comes." He murmured before repeating what he did to me to a clueless Mia.

"What is this all about?" Mia asked perplexed.

"Shhh," Junaid and I hushed her up.

"Where did Mandy tell you he was?" Junaid asked.

"Soccer practice," Mia replied.

"Doesn't look like it." He directed her gaze to where our friend sat with his trimester partner.

"Are they dating?" Mia gasped.

"Not yet." Junaid said.

"Looks like the paradise is no more the sole property of M4." Mia said pretending to be sad.

"Should we surprise him?" I asked enthusiastically.

"Absolutely not," Junaid said warningly, "I just wanted to share it with you two."

"Let's go back then." I suggested. It was getting cold and if we didn't wish to embarrass Mandy and Natasha, we better left before they decided to return this way.

"How did you know?" I asked switching on the heater, once back in my room.

"Well, being his roommate I notice things, which you two obviously don't." Junaid replied as he dropped himself on my bed.

"Like?" Mia asked lying down on her stomach and propping herself on her elbows, against her bed.

"For starters, he is always happy these days. I mean, it isn't like he was sad before. But he is less of a jerk than he was and more of a cute puppy now." Junaid grinned.

"Secondly Mandy manages to bring Natasha's name in anything and everything. For example if we are discussing an assignment, he would say 'Natasha said this about it, or Natasha did it like this.' If we speak about a movie he would be engrossed in sharing Natasha's review of the movie." We all chuckled at Junaid's revelation. "Not to mention the way he beams whenever Natasha texts him."
