"Where the fuck were you guys?" Mia screamed once Avinash and I stepped inside Fatima's apartment. The two of us were so engrossed in each other, that we didn't hear any of the thirty two missed calls from our friends. Brute came bounding towards me, his tail wagging frantically.

"What happened?" I was alarmed when I saw that the all my friends were in a complete mess.

Mandy's nose was bleeding, while Natasha held a handkerchief to stop his flow, ignoring the bump she herself had on her forehead. Mia had a cut on her lower lips, and her hair was disheveled, as she ran around the room handing over first aid to the rest.

"Drunken brawl," Fatima replied. She was the only one who seemed unscathed. The area around Danish's left eye was a deep shade of purple. Olivia was nursing a bright bruise on her cheekbone.

"With whom?" Avinash said looking shocked at our friends' condition.

"This group of stupid teenagers were passing rude comments on Fatima's and Mia's sexuality." Olivia said, pressing her cheekbone with an ice loaded handkerchief. "But they didn't raise a word of protest," she pointed at Mia and Fatima "I however couldn't take it. So I slapped one of the bitches in their group."

"And that's when all hell broke loose." Fatima smiled sheepishly.

"I hope you guys gave them more than they gave you." Avinash chuckled. I felt bad, that I wasn't there to stand up with my friends against the bullies.

"One of the punk had to be taken away on a stretcher." Mandy informed proudly.

"You two should have seen the punks' faces. They were probably in their mid teens and seventeen of them against the six of us. Yet we managed to beat them down." Olivia chirped happily.

"Making a complete mess of our faces," Mia grimaced.

"You should stop ignoring them, and start giving them back." Danish frowned at her.

"Then I would have to spend my whole life doing that." Mia huffed, "Because our society is full of homo-phobics like those punks."

"You don't have to do that alone." Avinash said as he walked up to examine Mandy's nose. "You have us."

"Yeah? Like tonight? When you disappeared on us, without a word." Mia's anger rose. Avinash fumbled for an answer, but couldn't find one.

"Hey, but we were there." Olivia said indignantly.

"I know, but none of you will be there forever. Once we graduate, each of us will go on our separate ways." Mia was frustrated. "Probably you won't even know if we ever run into trouble or worse, lie dead somewhere."

Before Mia could finish, all of our phones started to beep simultaneously, except for Fatima's.

"Not another group Mandy," I groaned, when I realized I was added to a group named 'Indian Avengers'

"Well, I didn't want to dilute M4, since it will always hold a special place in my heart. And It sucks to text each of you separately." Mandy made a face, "So this is perfect for a fast communication. Coming to your forecast Mia, remember this is your SOS button. Not just yours, all of ours. If not all, atleast one or two of us will regularly be checking this, even after we graduate."

"What's with the name?" Avinash chuckled. Along with the seven of us, the group had Junaid and Zoravar too.

"Well I am obsessed with Avengers." Mandy grinned stupidly. "And since we are supposed to be each other's saviors, this sounded cool."

Natasha rolled her eyes.

"Which makes you Nick Fury." I teased Mandy.

"Oh puleeez. I am Iron Man." He replied dreamily.
