Over the following days, I could feel the cold vibes emanating from every student of our college. They blamed Avinash for quitting the team, and they blamed me too, for being the reason behind him quitting. It was a relief that Mia, Olivia or the rest of our gang didn't feel that way.

However, I didn't get much time to ponder over the reaction of my fellow students since the emerging examinations made us immerse ourselves in studies.

"Avinash I still have to revise Emergency Medical Applications." I groaned, when he called me on the Valentine's Day afternoon.

"I promise I wouldn't take more than a couple of hours of yours." He assured me. "Come to the indoor pool."

I decided to leave Brute with Mia, before grudgingly dragging my fat ass to the sports building.

Once I stepped outside the elevator, my mouth fell open. The dimly lit swimming pool area had a table placed near the edge of the pool, covered with a pearly white tablecloth. A red carpet ran from the elevator to the table.

And there he stood, with his hands hidden in his trouser's pocket, beaming at me. There was a porcelain vase at the center of the table, with a bouquet of white Baby's Breath, Violet Bougainvillea and Red Cherry Blossom, pouring out.

"Oh my god! I love them." I said, gently trailing my hands over the flowers.

"You want to satiate your hunger first?" Avinash asked me.

"What's the spread?" I grinned at the mention of food.

"We have Grilled lobster and Rice Noodles, followed by Blueberry Cheesecake for deserts." He laid down two plastic take away boxes and a small paper box on the table.

"How did you find out?" I gasped.

I had never told him that those were my favorite food. I had always been crazy about cheesecakes, though Blueberry cheesecake was my all time favorite, and even if you fed me lobsters every day, I wouldn't ever get bored of them.

"Leo and I talk to each other more frequently than you would have imagined." He winked. "I would suggest we eat, otherwise the food will get cold." I nodded hungrily.

"So you like the surprise?" He asked.

"I love it Avi," I said with a mouthful of the delicious rice noodles. "I wish I had something for you too."

"Don't worry; you will get your chance to surprise me too." He smiled mischievously.

I wondered what he meant, while tearing the Lobster's crust with my hand and biting into its tender flesh.

"How did you manage to get Lobsters over here?" Auli didn't have any sea or ocean body close to it

"I have my ways." He wiped away the residue of the cheesecake that was stuck to the side of my lips with the pad of his thumb.

"So how is your Valentine's Day date going so far?" He wiggled his brows.

"I am short of words. I was apprehensive, that you had planned something at Dehradun." I was honestly scared that he would make me waste a whole day before examinations, by planning something in the capital city. But this was beyond my imagination. I had no idea, that he was this romantic.

"So should we move to the second half of our date?" His eyes twinkled.

"There is more!" I exclaimed.
