"Dad was just scaring you, he hasn't got any friend tailing you." Leo whispered from the other side of the line.

"You sure?" I asked nervously.

"Quite sure." Leo assured.

"Why couldn't you say that a little earlier?" I growled.

"I had to make sure. I couldn't check his call records, until he fell asleep." Leo hissed.

It was nearly quarter past ten at night. If Leo had told me this before, I could have gone and met Avinash once.

"Thank you Leo." I should have felt grateful, instead of complaining. "How is Brute?" I asked for the umpteenth time.

"Competing with Ba in a nail-biting snoring contest." I could visualize Leo rolling his eyes.

"I am missing him." I sighed.

"Who?" Leo was still whispering.

"Both. Brute and Avinash both." I replied sadly, looking at the healing scars that adorned the inside of both arms, courtesy Brutus Banerjee. I missed Brute more than Avinash though.

"Don't you ever miss me?" Ah, Leo's classic pretentious-voice-of-hurt.

"Nope." I grinned.

"I gotta sleep now. Catch you tomorrow."

"Take care Leo." I wished him goodnight before disconnecting the call.

I called Avinash too, but the call went unanswered. Not having anything else to preoccupy my mind, I decided to call it a night, absentmindedly scratching the scar Brute's bite had left.

The shrill ringing of my phone woke me up, flashing Mia's name on the screen. I had completely forgotten calling any of them.

"Hey are you at Avinash's place?" Her impatient voice asked me.

"No I am at a hotel near the airport." I replied sleepily.

"She is staying somewhere around here." Mia told someone on her side.

"Ask her the address, we will pick her up on the way." I could make out Junaid's voice.

"Will she fit in?" It was Zorovar on the other side.

"Yeah we will squeeze in."
I was baffled by this conversation not having any idea where they were.

"Naxi, send Junaid your hotel address and get ready sweetheart. We will pick you up." Mia spoke to me this time.

"Wha...what is going on? Where are you guys?" I asked a little confused.

"We are in Jaipur. Danny, Oly, Mandy and Nuts are already on their way to Avinash's place." She filled me in, "I have Fatima, Naid and Zoro with me. We will pick you up on our way."

"Is Brute with her?" Zorovar asked.

"Tell him my dad took Brute home." I told Mia sadly.

"Wait! What?" I could imagine the look of surprise on her face.

"Long story. Will tell you when we meet." I disconnected the call and Whatsapped the hotel's address to Junaid. I hastily got ready and within half an hour, I was squeezed in the rear seat of the sedan cab, beside Junaid. Fatima had to sit on Mia's lap, to make room for me.

"You look terrible. Did you get any sleep?" Junaid asked.

"Yep finally got some last night." My yawn followed my words.

"How is Avinash doing?" Zoravar sounded concerned.

"Not good obviously. It had been merely two nights." Avinash hadn't been able to answer my call even once, after I left from his house.
