Jasmin's POV

Some of my friends from the old neighborhood are coming over today.  They're gonna meet Do Chi.  Their names are Ryan, James, and Jasmine.

I'm currently giving her a talk, nervous about the encounter that's about to take place.  "Do Chi, stay cool and don't embarrass me."

She does a smirkish smile.  "Are you sure you don't have to worry about yourself?"  I nudge her with a smile.

There's a knock on the door.  "Oh, they're here!"  I immediately rush over to the door.

"Hey, guys."  I greet them with a smile, them smiling back at me.  "Hey, Jasmin.  Long time, no see."  Ryan says and hugs me.

Little backstory, Ryan used to like me until I told him I wasn't interested.  You kinda gotta watch out for him.

"Jasmin, girl, where you been?"  Jasmine says.  I let them inside before closing the door.  We all walk over to the couch and sit down.

"My mother and I moved in with her girlfriend and her girlfriend's daughter, which leads me to,"  I gesture to Do Chi, who's sitting next to me.  "This is Do Chi."

"Hi."  Do says with a wave and a sweet smile.  "Hi."  They reply back, returning her gesture.  "Do, these are my friends Jasmine, Ryan, and James."  I say, individually gesturing to them.

"It's nice to meet y'all."  She says.  "You, too."  They say.  "So this is your stepsister?"  Ryan says.  "No, she's not my stepsister."  I say with an annoyed tone and matching face.

"Where are your parents?"  Jasmine says.  "They're on vacation."  I say.  "And they left you here?,"  James says with a chuckle.  "That's classic."  He says, smiling.

"Well, sometimes our moms want some time alone."  I say.  "So, how long have you guys known Jasmin?"

"We all go waaaayyy back.  We met in fifth grade and have been friends ever since."  Jasmine says.  Just as Do is about to ask another question, Ryan asks to speak with me in the kitchen.

We go inside the kitchen, standing in front of the washing machine.  "You needed a word?"  I say, casually leaning against the washing machine, my arms folded over my chest.

"So, that future stepsister of yours....  Is she single?"  "Ryan, she wouldn't even give you the time of day.  She's gay.  Now is that all you wanted?"  He nods his head, kinda embarrassed.

We go back to the living room, me leading the way in annoyance.  Damn dude just wasted my time.

"Do you have a boyfriend, Do, or do you like girls?"  Jasmine says.  "I'm a lesbian."  She responds with a proud smile.

"Oh great!  That makes two of y'all.  Jasmin's a lesbian, too."  Jasmine says, smiling, making my eyes go big.

"W-What?  No I'm not....."  I've never even come out to any of them.  How would she know that I'm a lesbian?

Jasmine turns to look at me.  "You're not?  Could've fooled me."  She says, sounding confused with an expression to match.

"Heeeyyyyyy, how about we play some games?"  I quickly say.  I need to get this attention off of me.  "Sure."  Jasmine says.  "Hell yeah."  Do replies.

.....

We've played damn near every game under the sun.  Side note: Do Chi is really good at Just Dance.

"Well, we're gonna head out.  It's getting late."  Jasmine says.  They stand up, as do I.  "I missed you guys."  I say as I hug Jasmine.  "We missed you, too."  They say.

I hug Ryan and James before they all hug Do and say bye to her.  We exchange goodbyes and they leave.

"Was I too embarrassing for you?"  Do jokes with a smirk.  "Shut up."  I say with a smile and hit her with a pillow, making her smile.

"Your friends were nice."  "Yeah, I love those crazy people."  I smile.  "I wanna cuddle."

My eyes get big.  C-Cuddle?  "Uh.......sure.  I....guess we can cuddle."  I say hesitantly.  We commence to cuddling on the couch.
