Epilogue
We made sure to stop in and visit my family. I explained to them where I came from and where I was going. Marcus retreated to his room to play video games, and I fantasized it was because he didn't want me to see him cry (though really he was just bored with the whole situation, the git). It was a tearful visit all around.
And then the Doctor and I took off, and we ran. We traveled the stars for days on end. I could see why he did it- keep running and you can almost escape your past. Keep traveling to distant galaxies where pancakes are currency and they talk with their minds, and you soon forget about your personal woes.
I consider myself a Gallifreyan and a witch. Call me a danger to society, a menace, a ticking time bomb- I don't care. In fact, who cares if I shouldn't exist? I DO, and I guess the universe is just going to have to get used to it.
THE END.
Amelia will return.
