"Angel face?" Gerard asked as we walked home from school. As always, he had an arm around me.

"Punk boy?"

"Uhm, so, last night, when we were at your house," He looked to me, "Your dad... is he your... dad dad."

"My dad dad? You mean my biological dad?" He nodded, "No, he's my step dad, but he raised me so, he's still my dad."

"Oh, cool," He looked down for a moment, then began again, "Where's your real dad?"

"Don't know, don't care. He left my mom before I was born. He doesn't want anything to do with me, I don't want anything to do with him," Gerard hummed, "Why are you asking me this?"

"Just curious..." I hummed.

"Yeah, and I mean it was kinda inevitable."

"Whatta ya mean?"

"Before my dad, his dad left, and before that his dad left and so on and so on."

"Really? That's so sad!"

"Just how it be." Gerard then kissed my cheek.

"If it counts for anything, I'm not gonna leave ya. You're too beautiful, and amazing, and-"

"Stop..."

"Angel face! You're so pretty, and wonderful, and the most amazing girl I've ever met."

"Punk boy, I am not..." He stopped dead in his tracks, forcing me to stop too.

"Yes you are! Why do you always say no!?" I shrugged, "Well I'm gonna keep telling you. I don't care if you don't like it. I'm just telling the truth."

"Gerard..."

"Angel face, I mean it! You're perfect!"

"No I'm not."

"Yes you are," He sighed, "I just wish you could see yourself the way I see you." He kissed the side of my head, and we began walking again.

"Please, you're the good lookin' one here."

"Hey angel face?"

"Hey punk boy?"

"I just... you're beautiful..." He kissed my head, "And don't say you're not. I'll beat up Frank if you do."

"Fine... I'm... beautiful... or whatever..."

"Fuck yeah you are!" He chuckled, just as we made it to my house.

"Wanna come in?" I asked, he nodded. Unlocking the door, we walked inside, immediately being met with Tyler sat on the floor.

"Oh, hi guys," He greeted.

"Sup," Gerard greeted, his grip around me tightened just a bit.

"Not much, you?"

"Just, hanging out with my girlfriend."

"Really?" Tyler stood up from the carpeted entry floor, "With no adults around? C'mon, Y/n, y'know exactly what he's up to!" I sent a confused look.

"What he's up to?" I asked, puzzled.

"C'mon, Y/n, he's a teenage boy! No parents around, he-"

"Eww, why would you think that? Gerard's fine..." I reassured, then pulled my boyfriend away from my boy that is a friend, "Sorry about that, he gets worried very easily." I explained as we walked into my room.

"No, I just think he doesn't like me much." He said as we sat on my bed.

"Really? Why do you think that?"
