Tyler and I now stepped towards the door of the Way household. I wore a red and black striped sweater that fell past my knees and held rips from being worn so much. Along with that I also wore long black leggings and a pair of black combat boots that made me just an inch taller.

For Tyler, he wore a baby blue collared shirt and white dress pants that fit the "goody two shoes" label well. As I knocked on the door, little snowflakes began to fall from the dark grey skies. The door opened and we were immediately met with punk boy. He held a little smile on his face.

"Angel face!" He beamed, "Come in, come in..." We did as told. His house... I haven't been here since the snowball...

"Thanks for inviting us." Tyler said, Gerard sent a look.

"Uh, yeah, it was nothing..." Tyler walked away into the living room, "Why's he here?"

"You invited him, remember?"

"Did I? I'm sure I just said you could bring him to be nice..." I sent a look, "What? He's mean to me!"

"Babe, he's not gonna do anything. It's Christmas! And besides, I made him promise not to."

"Alright..." I took Gerard's hand and smiled.

"C'mon, let's get outta the entryway." I lightly tugged on his hand.

"But I just wanna stand here all night!" He cried with a silly smirk.

"Too bad," I tugged on his fingers once again. He finally began to follow me.

We wandered into the living room where tons of Christmas decorations cluttered the walls and ceilings. There was a huge Christmas tree that almost touched the ceiling. Many adults sat around on couches or stood speaking to each other in nice attire. I could only assume they were relatives of Gerard's. Almost immediately, I got nervous.

So many people here... so many relatives... their eyes silently judge me... what would they say about me? Good things? With this wannabe Kurt Cobain look going on... I definitely don't look like a "good" kid... haha...

"Mom! Dad!" Gerard dragged me behind him. Oh shit... his parents... I didn't prepare for this...

"I'd like to introduce you to my girlfriend, Y/n." He motioned towards me. I held up a hand and waved it slightly.

"Hi, it's nice to meet you." I spoke in that super sweet tone only used for sucking up, or when talking to your boyfriend's parents for the first time.

"Oh, it's nice to meet you too," His mother said, "Gerard is always talking about you."

"Really...?" I eyed Gerard.

"Yeah, you're all he talks about," His father said, "It's a nice change from hearing his adventures in video games." They laughed, I just smiled.

"Uh, Y/n and I are gonna head downstairs now."

"It was nice meeting you." I said.

"Same here..." Gerard and I then broke away. He led me out of the living room.

"They seem nice," I said, "Why'd you pull us away so fast?"

"When it comes to having relatives over here you gotta get outta the mix quick. If we hadn't broken away right then, we'd have to sit through all my relatives sob stories." I giggled.

I've only ever had Christmas with my mom and dad... if I'm lucky I get to see a grandparent... but that's only if we're close enough...

"Alright..." He led me through the kitchen. Plates upon plates and dishes of food laid out on the counters. There wasn't an inch of exposed counter in sight.
