Gerard and I walked down the chilly sidewalk on the downtown. Shops and restaurants lined the streets. Light snowflakes fell from the grey clouds above, making the darkness of night more grey. Quiet sounds of Christmas songs rang through the little street.

The small snowflakes scattered around Gerard's hair, just as it did mine. He had an arm around my shoulders as we walked. Petite salt crystals covered the sidewalk which caused the falling snow to melt instead of stick.

Lights from the shops and restaurants shown bright creating a yellowish glow down on the sidewalk. With snowflakes in his hair and yellow light reflecting off his cheek, punk boy told me a story. One about him and his best friends being total morons.

His pretty hazel eyes matched the soft glow of the yellow lights. With every word his smile grew along with his excitement. It only made me do the same. He's so cute when he gets all excited... I love listening to his stories... or just... when he talks of his favorite things...

"... and then, Frankie jumped off the roof, aiming for the pool, but he totally missed! He landed face first into the neighbors trampoline! He had to get stitches, it was so sick..." He laughed, "Yeah, and that's why Frank's terrified of trampolines..."

"Wow," I laughed, "Frank is a huge idiot..."

"Yeah, he is..." He chuckled, "Whatta bout you, angel face? Got any idiotic tales to tell?" I thought for a moment, then shrugged.

"Not really..."

"Oh c'mon, you've gotta have something! You've been like, everywhere!"

"I haven't been everywhere, but nothing ever really happens, I guess. Nothing interesting ever happened to me until you came along. Then all hell broke loose!" He chuckled.

"But seriously, nothing at all? C'mon, angel face, I feel like I've been doin' the talkin' this whole night."

"Well, I guess," I thought for a moment, "I had a friend who was being chased by cops and didn't even realize it," He just sent me a look, "Seriously! Me and my ex were sitting at my house and then all of a sudden we see our friends car being chased by the cops!"

"How does that even happen?" I shrugged.

"We called him while he was driving, had no idea it was happening. He thought we were joking. Then he finally got to where he needed and apparently the cops thought he had stolen a car and went on a joy ride. Turns out, he just happened to have the same car as the guy they were actually looking for!" He chuckled.

"Damn, that's crazy. Did he get arrested or anything?"

"Nah, he got off with a warning for running from the cops." He laughed.

"Very cool," His gaze shifted, "Oh sick!"

"What?" I asked, looking the same way. A Salvation Army Santa stood outside a random store with a little red bucket and bell. Typical Christmas thing.

"Hi," Gerard greeted, then gave him a dollar. In exchange the Santa handed him a cherry tootsie pop. We began walking once again, "The Santas around here always hand out candy." He handed the tootsie pop to me.

"Thanks..." He just kissed my cheek. I ripped off the red wrapper and stuck the sucker in my mouth. The candy felt slightly warm against my freezing insides.

"So, tell me how you met Frank." I said, leaning into punk boy.

"Oh I met Frankie back in the eighth grade. We had a coupla classes together. But how we became friends? That's a whole different story."

"Fine, how'd you become friends?" He smirked.

"We both blew spit balls at the math teacher and held detention together for a week," I giggled, "You're so cute..."

"No I'm not..."

"Yes you are!" He kissed my cheek, and then all over my face. I pressed my cherry red lips to his, "You taste like cherry..." I then stuck my blood red tongue out, trying to lick his cheek.

"Aw, gross!" He chuckled as I ran my tongue up his cheek. We both just laughed. Oh punk boy... your laugh just kills me...

"Punk boy?"

"Angel face?" I just kissed his cheek, "Yeah?" He did it back to me. Then, he pulled away and just stared at me.

"Whatcha lookin' at?"

"If I tell you, promise me you won't get mad."

"Promise..."

"Then I'm lookin' at the prettiest girl I've ever seen."

"Oh, I'm... I'm not the prettiest..." I looked to the salted sidewalk.

"You promised you wouldn't get mad!"

"I'm not mad," I sighed, "I just don't agree..."

"Angel face, why not?"

"Cause, I'm just not," I bit down on the tootsie pop, eating the tootsie roll inside, "And it's a little narcissistic to think you're the prettiest, isn't it?"

"It ain't narcissistic if it's true!"

"Well it's not, so..." I finished off the chocolate and threw the stick in a near by trash can, "It'd be narcissistic."

"Angel face," His feet stopped moving, forcing mine to stop as well. Those hazel eyes just looked at me for a moment, holding a concerned look, "Angel face, you're so beautiful."

"No..."

"Yes, yes you are! Why do you always say no?" I looked away, back to the concrete.

"Cause I'm not..."

"B-"

"Uhm, could we talk about this later?" I don't wanna ruin this moment... this date with Gerard... I can't ruin this... not tonight... another time... yeah...

"Sure," He spoke, unsure of himself. We began walking again, but it was quiet. He kept sending curious or concerned looks my way, "Angel face?" I hummed, he took a moment, "When will we talk about whatever this is?" I shrugged.

"One day..." I sent a small smile, "Maybe soon, if I haven't moved by then..." His head shot up at the sound of this.

"Moved? Why would you move?" His eyes were wide.

"Gerard, I already told you, I move a lot. My dad's job is always moving him everywhere, so we go with him."

"But you can't move! You're miss angel face!"

"I'm sorry punk boy, it's not up to me. But I don't even know yet. There's a good chance I'll be gone before Valentine's Day, though," He sent a saddened look that destroyed my heart strings. I kissed his cheek, "You've got me now, though."

"Yeah, I guess so..." His tone was still gloomy.

"Hey punk boy?" He hummed, "Wanna head to that party?" I asked, changing the subject.

"Oh yeah," He stopped walking and checked the time on his phone, "We should probably pick up the boys."

"Yeah..."
