Happy Anniversary

Our one year mark is tomorrow on a Tuesday I'm not sure what we're doing but I'm actually excited about all of it we've been through a lot but we made it you know. I'm just hoping for many more to come. I don't want to make a big deal out of a year so I'm thinking just dinner and just hang out not to sure what you actually do I'm not familiar with this. I get up and get ready for school get to the car connect my music and head out. I get to the school realizing no one has texted me. I grab my backpack and head to the door I'm in my phone looking for what kind of gift that I could get Adrian for tomorrow. I'm deep in thought like I know what he likes but what's an appropriate gift for an anniversary it's only been a year so nothing to big and nothing to grand. I'm walking and bump right into someone and my phone disappears and I hear damn baby girl I need you to pay me some attention like you putting into your phone I giggle and snatch my phone back. Okay Adrian don't be jealous I lean in and kiss him and tell him I give him the most attention possible he gets it 22/7 the only time he doesn't is when I'm thinking about other stuff but other than that he in my dreams can't get him outta my mind. He stops walking and goes damn it's like that lol I didn't even know. Occasionally those other 2 hours are thinking about Keith powers he gives me a look and I giggle he looks back and says I'm not laughing and walks off. I roll my eyes he's such a big baby he acting like I could call that man today and ask him to be my boyfriend. He comes back to me while I'm at my locker and says you done talking about other guys like you don't have a boyfriend. I roll my eyes and say you done being a baby acting like I could call him and ask him to be my boyfriend. He goes uh well I'm kidding but I know you only got eyes for me. I smile and hand him my books to walk me to class and the day has started we have gone our separate ways. I get to class we just have a quiz then we get free time when we're finished. I take the quiz and finish in about 15 minutes so there's about 45 minutes left in the class. I continue to look for gifts not sure if I should diy something or buy something I text Sasha and ask her what kind of gift I should get. We're basically still kids but at the same time I want to give him a gift.

Me- See this is why you're my Bestfriend. You want to come with me to the mall after school to pick it up and some other stuff I'm going to turn it into a little gift basket with some candy and matching socks the stuff you see on ig lol I finally have a boyfriend to do it for.

Bestfriend💚🤞🏽🥰- Yes you can come pick me up it's your idea so we're gonna run up your gas which mall we going to.

Me- The one in jordan it's bigger so be ready cause they close at 9 so we have to hurry because I want to find something nice to wear and get his outfits.

The bell rings as soon as I put my phone down I gather my things because that was successful and I think he will love it. I'm all smiles up until lunch when I see him we grab our food and sit at a table and start to talk I asl him if he's going to cook for me tomorrow just eat in and he says no that we're eating at the restaurant he already planned it out so I say that's fine also because I loveeeeeeee eating there. He tells me not to worry about it and he will tell me the details tomorrow after school. I smile thinking about how he's setting up stuff without asking or having to be told. We finish eating and go our separate ways the rest of the school day flys by I pack up my stuff and head to my car texting Adrain telling him I'll see him later that I had to go run some errands and he says ok on my way out I run into Blaze and he ask what I'm getting into I tell him I'm going to the mall in Jordan and he pauses for a moment and goes would it be weird if I asked if me and my girl could ride with you cause she wanted to go but i said this weekend. I think about it and say nah that's fine my Bestfriend going tho so we gotta be quick I have to pick her up. He says coo and says he will he says he's gonna follow me to Sasha house and leave his car there I say okay and head to her house I call her to give her the heads up cause she's RUDE. I call her on the car speaker and say hey so it's not just us going we have guest going so she ask who and I pause and say Blaze and his girl and she sighs and goes but why I giggle and say well his girl not that bad since we talked I just know it's gonna be a quiet awkward car ride with her knowing how he feel about me. She says yea ok hurry up because I'm ready and we got a lot of shopping to do. We pull-up to the house and he parks on the side and they get out and stand by my car I go knock on the door and tell her come on. She walks out with this look on her face and I get nervous cause it's not gonna be good we get to the car and the girl starts talk hi I'm Jennifer you must be Sasha and why this girl go yea I umm hum I know and gets in the car. My face softens and I look back sorry she's rude she thinks I don't need other friends. She smiles and is a good sport about it and says it's fine my Bestfriend acts the same way and they get in the back and I get in and look at Sasha and she laughs and goes I got y'all good I'm not that bad of a person she turns around and says I  heard about you before but yes I'm Sasha then the car ride is less tense and we head to the mall we get there and go our separate ways to do some shopping. I head to the Nike store and pick out 2 sets and then I go and get socks and then head to the store that sells Adidas outfits and grab just one and a T-shirt because the other outfit was ugly. Then I go to the little jewelry counter in the middle and get a locket engraved with A&J then have them put my favorite picture of us in it. Now me and Sasha go to find me a new outfit to wear I pick something simple but cute and also warm since it will be late and we will be outside we gather our things and go to the food court for pretzels and wait for them to finish we talk for a little over fifteen minutes and they show up and say they are ready to go. We grab our bags and head back to my car. I ask if anyone needs to go anywhere else they say no so we ride home in a comfortable silence. I drop them all off at Sashas and go over to Adrians to pick up Nyla and head home when I get there it smells really good my mouth automatically starts to water I ask what he's cooking and he says dinner so I go sit in the living room with Nyla since I can't see what he's making and wait for him to tell me come to the table to eat fine minutes and I'll be finished my shirt felt like it was killing me all of a sudden so I changed into one of his T-shirt's before going to the table I sit and wait for him to bring the food it smells really good he wouldn't let me see what it was but as soon as he brought the food out my mouth just started watering he made Cajun shrimp Alfredo with garlic bread I had to take a bite while he wasn't looking it was melt in your mouth good. So I waited for him to come back he had small bowls of salad also all I could think was how lucky I got. We eat and y'all for a little before I grab Nyla and head to the house to spend time with my siblings before bed. I get to the house and no ones there so I guess they're out so I just go in and get ready for bed. I set my alarm for seven and drift off to sleep. My alarm is going off I wake up take a shower and get dressed
