chapter nine

"Octavia, wake up sweet thing. Come on, wake up. We have training to do. You're already late." Kylo said between the kisses he was laying across my bare shoulder. I knew if he noticed I was awake he would make me get up and out of bed. This moment was too perfect, it was dream like. "No let's just stay in bed." I said rolling over to face him. I laid there tracing his perfect facial structures, from his broad nose to his perfect pink plump lips. "If you get out of bed and start getting ready, I'll get you breakfast." I instantly rolled out of bed and jumped into his shower. Food was my weakness, if you even mentioned food, I would do whatever you asked me to. I finished my shower quickly and walked out of the bathroom in a towel to find one of my outfits laid out on the bed with a note next to it.

Octavia,

Get dressed, eat some breakfast, and meet me in our normal training room.

I smiled when I saw the spread of food set out on the table in the kitchen area. I noticed a few bites were taken out of one of the plates. Good he at least ate something. After getting dressed I ate some of the food and drank the cup of coffee that was left for me.

The training room was empty, and the lights were dimmed down. "Kylo?" I said to an obviously empty room. A few seconds passed then I heard it. The sound of metal scraping metal. The sound made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. My instincts started to kick in, I pulled my sabers from my belt and ignited them. In a split second I spun around to block a hit. It had come from a full armored Vicrul. I could feel another presence coming in hot from behind me, then another, and another until I was fully surrounded by all the Knights of Ren, all of them in their full armor and helmets. I gave a little shrug and the seven-way dual began. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a flash of red. It only caught my attention for a nanosecond. Then everything just stopped. The knights stopped their attacks and stood at attention. Only then was I met by a masked Kylo. He raised his own saber up, daring me to make the first move. We circled around each other. This time Kylo struck first. It saw easy to detect his first move. He always started with an overhand strike. We fought and fought until we were both heaving heavily. Sparing with Kylo was like dancing with the devil. He had no mercy and never went easy on me. "I can tell you're getting tired Octavia. Give up. Submit to me." The mechanical voice said. All I could sneer out was a quick, "Never." as I blocked his strike. It seemed like this was going to be never ending.

Finally, I knocked Kylo from his feet. As he was starting to get up, I put my foot on his chest and my saber to his neck. "You will submit to me." I turned my sabers off and walked to the fridge on the far side of the room to get some water. I flipped the lights on and when I turned around and was met by seven pairs of eyes looking back at me in shock. "What? Did I do something?" I asked genuinely confused. No one dared to say anything. Kylo got up from the floor and dismissed the knights. "Octavia a word please." Only if you take that stupid mask off.I heard the mechanical voice sigh and the hiss of his mask coming off.

"When we are outside of the quarters you must show me respect. That little stunt you pulled just now is unacceptable." "Really? Unacceptable? Come on Kylo, it wasn't that serious." "Octavia, I can't have you doing this shit, especially in front of the knights." "Okay whatever, you're right I'm wrong. You're always right wise Supreme Leader." I said before I walked off, well tried to walk off. Kylo grabbed my wrist to stop me. "Don't you dare walk away from me when I am speaking to you. You are not a child so stop acting like one." He said inches away from my face. I could see the anger in his eyes. I have to admit, he was really hot when he was angry. I had the strongest urge to kiss this man. My brain was practically screaming at him to kiss me. "Did you forget I can hear everything you're thinking?" Oh, I know you can, so why don't you just kiss me. I thought.
