They sat quietly as the class started to calm down. Apparently the seat Hana chose was actually Tendo's, yet she didn't move. If she was being dragged around her own school for the sake of a table quiz, she wasn't going to stand in the middle of a classroom doing it.

Him and Eita shared a chair and the four of them formed a group for the quiz, Hana being selected as the leader. Waiting for the teacher to set up the quiz questions, Ushijima's eyes wondered to the girl next to him.

The way her chin rested on her hand, softly squishing her face. The way her dark blue eyes were slightly droopier than usual, and the dark circles below them. 'She must be tired for some reason' Yet she seemed flawed perfectly. He couldn't tear his gaze away from her form, just quietly taking her in.

Hana had a certain charm about her that could only be a appreciated if you properly got to know her and understood her personality. He was quite fond of how not many other people could recognise it.

Her head turned, meeting his gaze, and she raised an eyebrow at him. Ushijima quickly stared to the front again, disregarding her curiosity. A piece of paper was set on her desk, and Hana wrote the team members at the top. Tendo, Ushijima and Eita all dragged a chair up to Hana's single desk and the quiz began.

Their teacher called the questions out every few minutes, and her team stared as Hana nonchalantly put down every answer the second they were asked.

Every now and then she'd press the pen to her temple, before once again answering on the page.
"I just knew we could count on you ms manager! Thanks for helping out Hana-chan!" Tendo spoke as the last few questions were called out.

Hana kept her eyes on her page as she continued writing.
"You don't know if these are right Tendo. I wouldn't celebrate yet, what if I'm actually getting them wrong?" He smirked and stuck his nose in the air.

"We both know that's not gonna happen Hana. If you weren't absolutely sure you knew it, you'd probably be really mad right now and start shouting at us." Hana squinted at him and finished writing, her lips pressed into a line.

"Ew, since when did you know me so well Tendo? I'm your manager not your sister. How could you know that much about me?"

"I'm good with people. That's why everyone loves me so much!" He announced, making the group scoff at his narcissism. Finally all the questions were finished, and after going over them all one last time, the teacher lifted all the papers and began adding up the scores.

Hana sat with her head resting in her arms. The warmth of the classroom making her even drowsier. She shifted her head to look at Ushijima at her side.

He sat straight up and rested his hands on his lap, his broad, wide shoulders slightly slumped. 'Damn. Kaori was right when she said he was ripped. It's like I can see his abs through his shirt they're that defined.' Realising what she was thinking about, she quickly shook her head and escaped her daze before she was caught.

Not long after, the teacher started announcing the scores.
"...Yamasaki's group; 24/30 points. And finally, Tendo's group with, my goodness, 30/30 points. Full marks, and the highest score. Congratulations students." She smiled.

Tendo and Eita cheered and stood from their seats. Hana smirking at their liveliness, until a girl she'd never met stood up.

"This isn't fair. They had Watanabe in their team! She's not even from this class. She thinks she can just come in here and boast that she's the smartest and win the quiz like it's nothing. I think they should be disqualified." She spat.

Hana had heard this before from others. People who thought she was acting better than them because she was smart. And every time she wouldn't say anything. Her ideal situation was to take it like a champ, because she really didn't care what they thought of her.

However, things didn't go as they usually did, as another person stood up.

"What right do you have to criticise her when you've never talked to her. If you bothered to talk to Hana then you'd know she doesn't put herself above others based on how smart they are. You should think next time before you judge someone you don't know." Ushijima said quietly, yet sounding more than a little irritated.

The girl was thrown off by him, because of how neutral he usually came off.
"Now now, both of you sit down. Himari-san, this is just a bit of fun, if Hana wants to join then it shouldn't be a problem. And yes, Ushijima-san is right. You shouldn't speak so lowly of her. It's not very nice. Now let's all calm down and get through the day before the break begins." The teacher spoke, with both students sitting back down.

Hana stared at Ushijima, not knowing what to say. She didn't think he'd go to the trouble of challenging someone for her sake. She poked his cheek, and gained his attention.
"You didn't have to do that you know. It happens from time to time, but it doesn't affect me."

"It doesn't matter. You shouldn't let others put you down for being good at something." He replied quietly. Her eyes widened, and Hana broke into a smile.
"Well... thanks Toshi. That was pretty cool." He felt his face get warmer, and with that the bell rang. Hana patted his shoulder and stood up from her desk.

"Well, I better get back to my class. Hope you have fun rubbing it in Reon's face Tendo. Tell him I say hi. Later dudes." She said, waving off the three and leaving the classroom.

Tendo clapped Ushijima on the back and laughed.
"How courageous of you Wakatoshi! I bet you just made her day lover boy." Ushijima looked at him weirdly before brushing him off, the pink on his cheeks fading with her exit.
