Aiken
"Baliw ka ba?" Napatingin ako sa kung sino mang nagsabi nito.
Nakita ko si Mateo at parang nandidiring nakatingin sa 'kin, "Nakayuko ka lang tapos nakangiti. Buang ka?" Sabi nito sa akin ng ganon pa din ang tingin. Mukhang kakagising niya lang din.
"May muta ka pa, buddy," Sabi ko sa kanya at nauna ng bumaba. Masisira lang umaga ko 'pag pinatulan ko pa siya.
Pagkababa ko, nakita ko lang don si Yesha, nanonood ng tv.
"Morning," Bati ko sa kanya at agad naman napalingon ito sa akin. Agad naman ako nitong nginitian kaya ngumiti din ako pabalik, "Si tita?" Tanong ko dito habang papunta ng kusina.
"Wala siya for 1 week, bakasyon raw," Wews, sama ako tita, joke. "Hindi mo na daw kailangan magtinda muna, pagkabalik na lang daw niya," Sabi nito sa akin kaya napalingon agad ako dito. Bakas sa mukha niya at mukha ko ang saya.
Sa wakas, isang linggong pahinga kay Tita.
"Btw, may niluto pala akong itlog dyan sa lamesa. Breakfast mo." She smiled at me, and bumalik na siya sa panonood ng tv.
I smiled, at least Yesha is here. At first, I thought I have nobody to depend to. Guess I'm wrong.
Kakain na sana ako when Aurora crossed my mind. Nagugutom kaya siya? I looked up to my room.
I let out a sigh and went to my room. Guess I really can't stop caring for her, huh.
Binuksan ko ang pinto at nakita ko siyang nakaupo at nakatitig lang sa labas.
"I miss home," She said and let out a sigh, "But I don't have any choice, I need to take care of you," And she looked at me with those sharp eyes again, "You big baby," She grinned, "What are you doing here?"
"There's breakfast. U-uhm, ano.. kasi," Tangina, aayain mo lang mag-almusal nauutal ka pa? Buset.
"What?"
"Gustomobamagbreakfast?" I said in a fast tone.
"How the heck can I understand that?" She said, irritated.
Dude, get your senses together.
"Gusto mo ba mag-breakfast?" Tanong ko sa kanya pero nakatingin ako sa baba. Nakakahiya, bwisit.
"That's more like it," Napatingin ako sa kanya, and she's smirking. I never once seen her smile, "Guess, there's no reason to decline, right?" She's still smirking.
Cute.
"Right," I smiled at her and went out of my room to serve her breakfast. Bumaba ako at kumuha na ng plato at inayos ang kakainin niya.
Tinignan ko kung may ice tea kami, I know Yesha wouldn't mind, baka kasi gusto ng ice tea ni Aurora.
"There," I saw the ice tea, cranberry flavor. Pinagtimpla ko siya and I made sure to put some ice.
Damn, the things I do for her.
Pagdating ko sa harap ng kwarto ko, nakita kong bukas ang pinto. Huh? I left that closed. Agad agad akong pumasok to check up on Aurora, and I saw her there patiently waiting on my bed.
"I thought something happened to you," I said to her while closing the door.
"Tch, why would you think that?" She said while getting the food, "Ooh, Ice tea, good job Aiken." She even clapped. Goodness sake.
"Nakabukas kasi 'yung pinto, e alam ko naman na iniwan kong nakasara 'yan," Sabi ko sa kanya habang tinutulungan ko siyang ayusin ang kakainin niya.
"Oh no, I'm the one who opened the door. Baka kasi mahirapan ka buksan, you know," She said then sipped her Ice tea. Guess she have that side.
"Well, thank you for that. Now, eat up," After I said that, she eats her food.
Halatang gutom na gutom e, but she's still graceful while she's eating. I smirked, she's really not losing her cool, huh.
"Where did you come from, Aurora? You said you miss your home, where is your home?" I asked her. I'm curious, can't help it.
"You should know that, after all you believed in us, right?" She answered my question with a question, wow.
Uh-huh, maybe I should know this. I'd listened to many fairy stories when I was a kid. Netherlands? No. Nevertheless? No. Nether? Absolutely not.
Ano ba kasi, sa'n ba kasi siya nakatira?
Ginawa pa 'kong manghuhula ampota na 'yan.
"Really? You don't remember?" She said habang kumakain ng itlog. "Awr you kwidding mwe?" I giggled, "Whaattt? Whatsch funny?" Still gobbling up on the egg.
"Nothing's funny, pft, and I really don't remember where you live," I said to her and looked at her face, ang dumi kumain. I think she can lost her cool too, haha.
"Duh, Never—," 'Di niya natuloy ang sinasabi niya dahil pagkasalita niya ay lumapit ako dito at pinunasan ang gilid ng labi niya gamit ang thumb ko.
I looked at her and she's looking at me, nervously, "W-what are you doing?" She asked, heavily.
"Ang dumi mo kasi kumain, there's rice on your face," Sabi ko dito at lumayo. Tumingin ako sa gilid, nahihiya din ako sa ginawa ko, amputa. "Btw, where do you live?" I asked again.
"N-Neverland. That's where I live," I smirked, so nauutal din pala siya 'pag kausap ako. Huh, It's my time to tease, "W-why are you smirking?" She's trying to be all grumpy now, nuh-uh.
I'm smirking at her as I'm getting closer to her face, I looked at her eyes then whispered on her ear, "Guess I can make you nervous," Then I laughed! She's as stiff as stone, "HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAH!! Dude, you should've seen your face!" Napatigil ako ng bigla niya akong hampasin, she's as red as a tomato, pft HAHAHAHAHA!
"Asshole!" Then she transformed into her fairy form. Napatayo ako at sinubukan siyang hanapin, I can't find her when she's in her fairy form, fuck. Too little.
"Okay, I'm sorry. Can you come out, please? Aurora, come out. I'm sorry, really," It's just so fun to tease you, your face as red as a tomato makes me laugh! I giggled. "Aurora, I'm really really sorry,"
Kahit anong tawag ko sa kanya 'di pa din siya lumalabas, well, maybe I'll try again later.
Niligpit ko na agad ang pinagkainan niya then before I go out, I smiled across the room, "I'm sorry Aurora, forgive me," And went out.
At least I'm starting to see her different emotions.
I want to see her smile next.. but I want her to smile.. because of me.
