Renjun had begun working for the model's portrait he received earlier that day with Hyunsoo, he worked harder and sketched with all beautiful details. Though his art were on the point as always it really mattered if the audience appreciated it just as much, he was just an artist, he couldn't create a successful path for everyone.
It was evening by the time Renjun was done sketching the upper body because of the heavy jewels the model had worn in the picture, he only hoped he could finish with this project and rest till his next assignment.
He also wanted to meet Hyunsoo after he was done, to know if she was happy, if she liked what he made for her at the brink of dawn. He was able to work faster because of the unusual adrenaline rush and soon enough he was done.
Meanwhile Hyunsoo was gathering up courage to walk out of her car, the man she saw had his eyes on her even now, smiling at her sweetly making her beyond terrified. She tried telling herself that she wasn't the old Hyunsoo anymore, she had become an ambitious woman, with confident thoughts she left her car, locking the doors before taking long strides, the atmosphere quiet enough where all she could hear were her heels clicking.
"The new house looks sweet from outside," he said, his deep voice glowered from his height, standing strong at 6-feet-tall, slightly bulked as he was.
Hyunsoo kept mum, not wanting to bring trouble anymore.
"Wouldn't you atleast show me in? For old times' sake?" He said as he walked closer to the girl who was busy unlocking her house, her mind was full of thoughts, hands shaking slightly but she kept her eyes away from him. Hyunsoo felt his breath around her shoulder and stopped moving her house keys, she was afraid he could barge in.
"Leave Wontaek," she muttered under her breath and what caught her offguard was his hand on hers, roughly pushing it further so the key would open the door.
"You're hurting me!" She yelled and used her free hand to push him away and while he was regaining himself a few feet away from the front door, Hyunsoo quickly turned the knob and got in but alas, before she could lock herself in he pushed the door open with all his might, making the girl fall on the floor and he chuckled setting foot into the house.
He looked around the big house, his eyes gleaming to see the beautiful abode and he scoffed before looking at the girl who was struggling to stand on her feet after the bad fall, it was only her luck to not have been hurt.
She stood up watching him closely as he walked around her living room.
"You sure earned yourself a fortune Hyunnie," Wontaek spoke and Hyunsoo grit her teeth at the nickname.
"Please leave," she plead again and he turned to look at her this time.
"Leave?" He started.
"I'm here to stay, so I'll be around for a while, you know the drill don't you?" He asked innocently and Hyunsoo got the gist of why he really was here.
"I have nothing to do with you anymore Wontaek, we were done three years ago," Hyunsoo spout and he shook his head, doe eyes widening innocently as he did so.
"I never said that we were done, heck I don't remember doing anything of the sort at all," he said and tried wrapping his arms around Hyunsoo's waist but she pushed him off.
"Woah, you've gotten stronger since the last time," he said and giggled to himself as Hyunsoo watched him in pain. She thought back to what she told herself in the car and gathered up courage once again.
"I'm not the woman you left stranded Wontaek," she said and walked towards him, her height giving her that intimidating touch, the feline eyes only made her appear stronger.
"I've grown since then and the result is what you're standing on today, there still may be people who dread with what you left me as but things have changed, I could ruin you," she spoke and the guy stared straight at her.
"Physical pain is different from emotional pain Hyunnie-"
"Stop calling me that!" Not being able to stop herself she pushed him causing the man to hit his back on the walls.
He chuckled the pain away before brushing his clothes.
"I don't care about your warnings anymore, I heard you signed up for CoverGirl, and that you're gonna be on the front cover soon huh?" He said and Hyunsoo could only hope he wouldn't say what she had in mind.
"I wouldn't want my girl's reputation ruined again, so here's the deal, either you give me the money I want every month or you come back to me and be my little slut, and if you choose neither, then I still have two beautiful cams waiting at home, not to mention those were the best from what we recorded," Hyunsoo could feel her eyes stinging but she swore to not cry, not in front of him.
"I did my little research and CoverGirl doesn't give chances to models that are enveloped in controversy, with you the case is a bit sensitive, I could change that though," he said.
"Think wisely baby, I may have treated you wrong but I still miss your touch," he said and just when he got closer to touching her wrist she stepped back.
"I'll think about it, leave for now," Hyunsoo said, not looking at him at all.
"Okay okay, I guess that's enough pressure for one day," Wontaek said before leaving the house for real and Hyunsoo couldn't think straight, she went and locked the door, the girl didn't even realise she was hyperventilating, she hadn't done that in years. She was mad, afraid and mostly disappointed in herself.
She sat herself on the nearest seat and thought before grabbing herself a glass of water. All of the mixed emotions had started getting her more and more annoyed with anything and everything.
