Renjun's eyes lifted at about 7 in the morning, getting a good night's sleep after a whole week was just what he needed, he had Hyunsoo in his embrace all night and the thought of it made him feel comfy inside. He smiled inwardly, watching her tousled and messy morning hair, a full contrast to the girl the world saw on one too many magazine covers, he was happy to be the only one who got to see her this way.

Renjun got out, washed and dressed himself but Hyunsoo remained deep in slumber, he couldn't help looking over his shoulder every few seconds to tell if she was awake or not, but to his dismay, the girl was still asleep. Not being able to stop himself he dropped down on the bed once again, an oversized white shirt, messily tucked into a pair of light blue jeans adorning him as he looked down at the girl.

"Hyunsoo-ah," he sang, hoping for her to wake up. The girl shook only once before going back to sleep. He bit his lip, admiring the girl before deciding to just let her rest for the timebeing. He lifted himself, body way too active for that early in the morning, he sat down in front of his laptop, opening it up, not believing himself when he logged into his Google account and surfed the net.

He didn't even know how to frame the sentence in his mind without feeling embarrassed, never having done something like this before. He pursed his lips before turning to make sure she was still asleep.

"First date?" He questioned what he typed in and gulped hoping the web knows what he wants.

The title looked cringy enough to Renjun and so he took the shot, clicking into the website and a whole series of 21 bullet points showed up on his screen.

'1. Candle light dinner'

Renjun thought of it, she was a little more active than that and so he shrugged away the first idea.

'2. Watch a musical together'

Boring.

'3. A day at the arcade!'

He chuckled at himself, knowing just how bad he was at playing games, he was likely to have made himself look dumb, the thought of it making him shake his head.

'4. Amusement park'

That wasn't as bad and so he tried shortlisting that, having a personal liking for amusement parks.

'5. A stroll around the beach'

They did that already, making Renjun not think much of the ideas.

'6. Double date and a game night among your friends'

That was it, amusement park it is, Renjun looked through the net for all the amusement parks around them, fixing his eyes at the largest ones, with the biggest and scariest rides. He nod to himself and looked into the website further to see if he could make any bookings.

"What are you typing so hard?" Renjun heard behind him and instantly turned around, she had gotten up, the sheets that covered her nude body now at her lap as she combed her fingers through her hair. Renjun gulped feeling his Adam's apple bob as he turned back to face the screen, trying to hide as much of the screen as his slightly broad shoulders could.

"What are you getting shy at now?" Hyunsoo asked, her voice lacing with a bit of smug and Renjun only blushed further.

"Hyunsoo!" He whined and she chuckled, he heard shuffling behind him as she dressed herself but he chose to continue looking at the screen, he felt arms hug his shoulders down and her hands rested on his chest, her chin on the top of his head.

"Amusmemt park?" Hyunsoo asked and Renjun hummed.

"Would you go with me?" Renjun asked, looking up at her while her chin was still rested on his head, his eyes glimmering like that of a 6-year-old.

"If it's got you that excited then why not?"

Hyunsoo said and Renjun smiled merrily.

"Get ready then, I'll book the tickets online," at that Hyunsoo felt herself tense a bit.

"Now?" She asked and Renjun hummed one again, not sparing her a glance as he typed in furiously on the laptop.

Everything happened way too fast, Renjun was never this excited about anything ever before and so Hyunsoo didn't want the excitement to die down because of her. She got dressed in a pair of jeans similar to that of his and a pink blouse on top.

Hyunsoo watched the boy, his eyes has been shining ever since she saw them this morning, even when he drove, he had that little smile on his face that she found perfect.

Hyunsoo's heart thumped as they got closer to the amusement park, to her amazement, it was the biggest one in the state making her smile nervously.

"Let's go," Renjun sang as they got out, Hyunsoo stood in her place after getting out of his car, looking at the roller coaster that she could see even from the far distance they covered.

She felt fingers lace in between hers and her hand being held comfortingly.

"C'mon," Renjun said and pulled her along with him, walking side by side the whole while, as they neared the amusement park, Hyunsoo pulled out her black facemask, tying it around her ears so she doesn't get noticed around the amusement park.

They stood in the lines and all the while Hyunsoo's heart trembled, she had her smile on her face though hidden under the mask, she made sure Renjun only saw the bright side of hers and not even feel her trembling only cause she wanted him to be happy, they got their tickets and finally were able to look around the large ground.

"Which one do you want to ride first?" Hyunsoo asked.

"Can we get done with the biggest one first?!" Renjun asked, pointing at the roller coaster that she saw outside, she gulped secretly and looked at the boy.

"Why not?!" Hyunsoo said in her usual tone not letting Renjun doubt a single thing.

They jogged to the area and waited in the lines for a good three minutes before the gates finally opened, Renjun took the second seat, one thing Hyunsoo was glad about, the air smelt of sweat but excitement and fright was all she could see around herself from people of different age groups, Renjun helped strap down the girl before helping himself, he held her palm tightly as they were seated in the roller coaster that finally moved, painfully slow in the beginning, the peak was yet to come as the coaster changed positions, moving vertically up and Hyunsoo's hold on Renjun's hand tightened, Renjun was too excited to even tell. The largest peak, the one Hyunsoo saw outside the park was finally there, the two were a good over 25 feet above the ground and Hyunsoo gulped deeper this time.

"Renjun," she called out while the coaster had stopped for a few seconds before it would sling down.

"Hmm," he said, facing her with his kind eyes.

"Not the best time to tell you," Hyunsoo said and stopped momentarily when she heard the last click on the wheels of the roller coaster.

"I'm afraid of heights," she said and the coaster went all the way down in a few split second, screams of fright and happiness heard from all sides but all Hyunsoo felt was Renjun's hand around her shoulder as he held her tight.
