We were already kissing by the time we got to Shawn's hotel room. He shoved the door open, kissing my face desperately and pushed me backwards into the suite. I was furiously working on the buttons of his shirt as we stumbled into his room. He tripped me and I fell backwards onto the mattress. Shawn pressed his body to mine without making bear his weight. I kissed him harder as I shoved his shirt off his shoulders. Real people were not this strong. They weren't this beautiful. Shawn pulled away for a minute to look at me with his smoldering eyes. Then we crushed our lips together again and Shawn's hand slid towards the buttons on my back.

Shawn's hand running through my hair woke me up the next morning. I was laying on my stomach across his chest, my hair sprawled around my face.

"Hey beautiful." He murmured quietly. I smiled groggily and yawned.

"Morning Shawny." I mumbled. He laughed and kissed me gently.

"I love you." He sighed against my lips. I smiled. I loved him too. It was always wonderful to hear though.

"I love you more." I said, then pulled away.

"You still have that suitcase I left once, right?" I called, heading for his closet.

"Yup. On top of the third rack." Shawn yawned. I found a t-shirt and leggings, and pulled them on, then threw my hair up in a messy bun and pocketed a pair of sunglasses.

"Today we go to... I actually have no idea. How about... Nope I got nothing." I turned to Shawn. "You got anything?" I asked. He grinned.

"I do indeed." He said, taking my hand and leading me out of his house. He didn't have one idea in mind, he had many.

We went to Starbucks for breakfast, then we went roller skating at some random rink and I was as bad at it as I had been when I'd gone with my girlfriends, but it was ten hundred times more fun with Shawn. We laughed and fell and almost cried and snickered and teased each other to no end.

Then we went to see the new Just Mercy movie at the theater. It was awful, but it was fun to be there. Shawn didn't let me have any soda though. Then we walked around downtown for at least three hours, ducking into shops and buying random crap we didn't need. Then we ate dinner at McDonalds and couldn't stop laughing the whole time because Shawn ordered in a horrible British accent.

Shawn tried to convince me to go ice skating that evening, but I had to turn him down on that one.

As he walked me back to my hotel I was massaging the pain out of my grinning face, and he found it was hilarious. I loved him. Best. Day. Ever. I looked up at him, a giant grin on my face, my tongue between my teeth.

"You're gorgeous, you know that?" He asked, taking my hand and leading me to his car. I smiled softly and wrapped my arms around his arm, leaning against him.

"I don't believe you." I said gently. I was ordinary. Nothing special. Just a girl, trying to live her life without falling in love with stupid adorable and pefect people. Shawn opened my car door for me, and I slid in.

"Well, we can work on that, can't we?" He said, smiling. He leaned down and bumped my nose affectionately. I smiled at him.

"You can try." I said softly. He winked and walked over to his car door, and sat down. He took my hand again, driving with one hand and drove into the traffic.

"Shawn." I said softly. We were in Colorado, headed for California, and at a hotel. He seemed asleep beside me, but I had to make sure.

"Yes Mila?" He murmured quietly. I glanced away from my phone screen. Due to Coronavirus spread, quarantine orders are issued in the US.
