"I told you about the consequences of the wish Duusu spoke of when we came into the topic," Emilie's features drooped to a frown. "You knew I accepted what was coming. I kept using it and was already aware of the wounds of the peacock miraculous and I embraced that, accepting my mistake and my fate," she stifled a sob.

Everyone listening to her was still shocked at the words that were coming out of her mouth. It definitely contrasted her previous demeanor after she emerged back to life.

"Nathalie... Just... Why did you help him? I knew what he promised as I took my place in the deathbed and... and I didn't accept that knowing what the outcome was. And now, you've made him help you dig your own grave.

Nath you were my best friend, the only real one I had apart from my sister. I entrusted my family to you knowing they were in good hands. But," she sobbed lightly into the sleeve of her suit as she felt her heart clenching within her.

Her feelings reflected on everyone who had listened to her amidst the conversation. They suppressed crying at an audible volume so as to continue listening.

"But I should have expected Gabriel to be so reluctant to move on and accept it," the said man felt as if a knife pierced through him.

"However... Seeing as how you are the price of equal value taking my place, I knew that he had developed his feelings within the time you were left with him. He had loved you similar to when he loved me. But knowing him, he would always be the oblivious one," she laughed, attempting to lighten up her mood.

"Nathalie," everyone waited for her to continue. "I'm sorry. Not just for being the root of this tragedy you didn't deserve in a million years, but for also taking Adrien away from school," said boy listened intently as he wondered.

"I wanted to keep him close— to give them countless reasons to doubt and regret the decision they had made. I have been mean to you in television too and it certainly broke my heart knowing I was saying the worst things that never described you at all!" She gripped the stem of the rose she had held on the way to give to her.

"I even said despicable things to my own family. I kept Marinette here though I pretended to be pretending not to like her but allowed her to stay anyway. Because truth be told, she's an amazing person for my beloved Adrien," the two lovers blushed in the background and subtly exchanged looks.

"I was fine with my decision to submerge to death Nath. And I know you want so much more than just... stay in that thing. And I'll fix it! I'll fix you— revert everything back to the way it was!" she said with such determination.

"And I'll make sure to find those miraculouses Gabriel is hiding within the house."

"You knew that I was hiding them this whole time?!" The two teens facepalmed at his not so quiet thought.

"G-Gabriel?" she stuttered out, wiping the tears from her eyes.

"I guess our cover has been blown," Adrien deadpanned as they all arrived at her line of vision.

"You were here t-this entire time?!" She exclaimed, still gripping the rose's stem.

Before she could react, the two teens rushed over towards her, tightly hugging her. She froze in place, her eyes watering as she submerged to tears entirely. She hugged them both, with the rose still at the tip of her fingers. Gabriel stood in front of them as he let his tears fall freely once more. He walked in front of his wife as the two broke away from her. He caressed her cheek, kissing her forehead and hugging her.

"My love, we need to talk," she nodded, pulling away and placing her lips on his for the slightest second.

They all sat down on the ground, not planning on leaving Nathalie at all. They wiped away tears that still lingered in their eyes as Adrien decided to speak first.
