HI, BABY ISLAANDERS! So 1st sem is going to start soon so...I will do my best to update and complete this story so that you wouldn't have to wait forever for an update from me. We are almost done with this story. If you made it this far without skipping, I just wanna say I love you and thank you for reading my story.
TARRAH
"Here are the other dresses," Vince informed me as the maids drag in the rolling clothes rack.
There were many more dresses to try on. I'm honestly tired of trying on these dresses, but I wanted to look my best as I get married to Xander tomorrow. Tomorrow, he will be mine and only mine.
After the maids left, I rack through the dresses searching for that perfect dress. I hold a glass of champagne as I check them out. I wanted something sexy and all these dresses are so fucking boring and ugly. I will just let Alyssa have these ugly dresses. They are all ugly just like her.
"Anything you need to say? Say it now so you don't ruin my special day tomorrow, " I said over my shoulder, talking to Vince. He stood behind me quietly. Just us and no one else in here. I want to make sure my little assistant knows everything...what he should do and not do. I don't want him screwing up my plans.
"...."
"Well?" I ask again without looking at him.
"Marry me," was his answer.
Turning around, I look at Vince who stared at me with all seriousness. I put down the glass of champagne on the table before walking over to him, hearing my heels click on the floor. I love that sound. Sounds like power to me.
I stop in front of him and arching my perfectly shaped eyebrow at him. I was referring to my plans and he's thinking about us? I mean, there is no us. He was just someone I use to pass time. He's nothing but someone who does my dirty work and pleasures me. How silly of him to think like that.
"Cut the crap," I state, shaking my head at him.
He freaking had the audacity to reach for my hands. I give him a weird look but don't pull my hand away from him, wanting to hear what he has to say.
"Tarrah, I love you," He admitted softly, squeezing my hand. I try not to laugh, but then couldn't help it and started bursting out in a fit of laughter. Like, I just can't believe this guy? Him? Love me? Me! Tarrah! That is just ridiculous. I don't need him to love me. The only love I need is Xander's. But that jerk is playing hard to get.
"I'm serious, " Vince said when I kept laughing, "Please, we can elope tonight. You don't have to marry Xander. I love you and he doesn't-"
I cut him off with a slap to his face. My hand he held flew across his face, stunning him. He stopped talking, staring wide eyed at the floor as I compose myself.
"He will love me," I told him, turning away from him while flipping my hair, not caring that it hit him in the face.
"Oooh, bad timing?"
