After the show, I was surprised to see that the many cars that came with us here was not there anymore. Instead, it was just Nico's mustang and Damian's jeep with no Fabio in sight. Emma went home with her friends, that I knew, but the other cars I have no idea.
"Thank you," I smile at Damien when he opens the door for me. He doesn't say anything and closes the door, getting into the driver's seat.
He starts the car and drives, following after Nico's car.
"So..." I start, making conversation because Damian looked so serious.
He glances at me and then focuses on the road.
"How are you feeling?" I ask, not knowing what to talk about.
I see him smirk a little, "I'm feeling so happy because you are right beside me."
My smile drops. "I'm serious."
He turns to me, smirking, "I'm serious too, Angel."
"This is a fake relationship, Demon. Don't catch feelings," I remind him, sitting properly with my eyes focused on the road.
"I already have," He said so seriously and I wonder if he is joking or not.
The car pulls up behind Nico's where he was helping Lora out like a gentleman that he is. I squint at Damian who turns off the car and quickly jump out, shutting the car door. I can't deal with this guy and his jokes.
Chill. He is just joking. Nothing serious. I remind myself.
We all enter the restaurant, and instead of sitting out with everyone, we went to a VIP room. Lora was smiling the entire time and Nico couldn't stop looking at her with amusement. Since when did they get close?
We all ordered and silence fell upon us.
I told Lora that I would explain to her everything about what happened recently. Should I really?
But then she suddenly asked,"So what is going on? Are you guys together?"
Nico sits up in his seat but Damian just sat there, not really any reaction from him. He was sitting right beside me and I can smell his cologne. So good.
I look at Nico, hoping he answers this. If he loves Lora, I know he must want her to know more about him.
"Yes, they are," Nico spoke up.
"But," Lora said, facing me,"You never told me about any Damian before."
"Its a long story," I mutter.
"Well, you said you'd explain everything to me. Now's the time," She babbles on without thought, making me look at her with wide eyes.
But then Nico and Damian look at me. I didn't tell them about it. I guess I probably wasn't supposed to tell anyone without permission, but it's Lora!
Lora realized the looks the boys were giving me and gulped. "Uh..."
I groan. "Ok, look Lora. What I'm about to tell you is a big secret so keep it to yourself."
"If you expose the truth, I will personally kill you," Damian added, making Nico glare at him and he just shrugs.
"Demon," I drag, frowning at him. "That's my friend."
"And you're my angel. If anyone hurts you, I will hurt them." He said sternly and before i could retort, the waiters came with our food and wine.
"I promise I won't tell anything," Lora promised, looking at Nico who seemed to be in thought.
I just start eating, letting my brother and Damian be the one to take care of this situation. Lora, I'm sorry.
As Nico starts explaining to Lora everything, I was stuffing my mouth with carbonara and Damian was having himself wine while we listened. Lora keeps giving me looks while listening to my brother and I avoid her, eating.
"You look so sexy," Damian tells me while I had carbonara hanging out my mouth.
He puts his arm on the table, looking at me amusedly. My cheeks heat up from how he looks at me and I cover my mouth as I quickly down the carbonara, making him chuckle.
"So...right now, I'm surrounded my mafia leaders?" Lora gasps, covering her mouth as she looks at the three of us in shock. "O my god!"
I roll my eyes at her. "Yes you are. Lora, if you betray us, I'm not going to save you." I told her honestly. My own ex-husband betrayed me a lot. I don't want to trust anyone anymore.
She nods at me, "I promise I won't betray you guys."
"Tonight was my last show," I inform her and she looks at me sadly, but also understandingly.
"When all of this shit is over, come back okay?" She told me to which I nod, giving her a hopeful smile as we all continued to eat.
***
After dinner, Nico brought Lora home while me and Damian went back home. Or atleast, I thought that was where we were going but then we went somewhere else. There was a gate and it opened for us. We pull up to a house and I look at Damian in confusion. Where were we? What are we doing here?
And why is this house all black?
Is this...?
"We're staying at my place for tonight," Damian tells me as he parks the car in front of the house, looking at me.
I frown. "Why?"
"Because I said so," was his answer, getting out. I roll my eyes, getting out and meeting him at the front door. I cross my arms, "You should have said so. I didn't bring anything to wear."
"No problem. I don't mind you walking around nake-" Before he could finish his sentence, I make a loud noise while covering my ears so I don't hear him. The guy merely chuckles before unlocking the front door. He claps and the lights inside turn on, making me roll my eyes.
The house is painted black and almost everything in here is black. Damian's favorite color must be black, because everything he owns is mostly black, matching his dark soul.
"What is it with you and black? Is it your favorite color?" I ask curiously.
He locks the front door, coming up to me so close that he was in my personal space. He smirks, staring into my eyes as I hold my breath. My heart was beating fast with how close he was to me. If he leans in, our lips could touch.
"Actually, angel," He whispers, "My favorite color is green."
He pulls back and I let go of the breath i was holding in and glare at him. "I hate you."
"Too bad because I love you," He winks at me before heading to the stairs. "Follow me, beautiful."
