45| On My Way

DAMIAN

When we arrived in Thailand, all I was seeing was red. I appeared calm, but deep inside, I was ready to spill blood just to get my family back. It's been days since I saw my Angel and I've missed her so much. I hate myself for not getting there on time. I was too late to save her and I can't forgive myself for that. But I promise I'll get my love back. I will kill everyone who gets in my way.

There were about 20 black cars parked at the airport when we arrived. I made my way to my car, getting into the driver's seat as Alejandro and Nico go to their own cars. Fabio gets into the car with me while Malu sits in the back.

My phone rings and I pick it up, saying, "Hello."

"I got something you might like,"

It was Aries.

The Dragon gang has many allies. One of our friends are from Thailand and they wanted to help us get my wife back. They've been spying on the enemies for us since we gave them the location.

When we arrived in their territory, I found their boss who is a close-friend of mine, standing outside while waiting for my arrival.

"Damian, welcome!" Aran, the boss, said as we enter his home.

"Thank you for helping me, Aran," I thank him and he nods, saying, "Don't thank me. You saved my life, I just want to pay you back however I can."

"You're here," I turn to see Aries wiping her hands with a napkin as she walks over to us.

"Where is he?" I ask her and she smirks, "Follow me."

Aries came as soon as she learned of what happened. She came here for the fun of, torturing bad people.

She leads me upstairs to a guarded room, opening the door and we both enter with Aran standing behind us. Sitting and tied to the chair was a guy I've never met in my entire life. He remained calm when we approached him and Aries smiles at him, pulling down his blindfold.

The guy adjusts to the brightness of the room before focusing on the 3 of us.

"This is Jared," Aries starts, going to stand behind him, "We saw him leave the enemies' territory."

"Look, I don't know what you want with me, but I did nothing wrong," Jared claims as I drag a seat over, sitting down in front of him.

"Tell us what you know about her," Aran pipes up, showing him a picture of Alyssa.

Jared swallows, "She is Alyssa. She is the second wife."

I lean over, controlling myself, "That girl is my fiancée."

His eyes widen at what I say, "So...fiancée. The ring...You're a Dragonov!"

"Damian Dragonov," I introduced myself, "Now, tell me why Alyssa is being taken captive."

"Can't wait to teach those crazy people some lesson," Aries said, rubbing her hands together at the thought of it after Jared explained everything reluctantly.

"They want to rise above all," Jared shrugged, facing me, "They've been trying to get other gangs to join their side to become the most powerful gang."

"That's never going to happen," I state, sitting up straight while I continue to look through the pictures on the iPad screen. I'm seeing faces I've never seen before, but there are a few faces that are familiar. I come across a man's picture, seeing the scar on his face.

"Call Nico in, we need to talk," I order one of the guards standing by the door.

It's his father. Nico should be the one to deal with him.

"Are you sure about this?" I heard Aries asking her sister Aria by the cars as everyone was getting to leave.

We've made a plan for when we attack the enemies tonight. Earlier, Jared called his friend Xander and apparently, the honeymoon is cancelled and they are being locked inside different rooms. He doesn't know what happened though. I have a feeling if we don't attack tonight, something is going to happen. I have a bad feeling about this.

In a few minutes, we will be heading to the territory where Alyssa is being held captive. I can't wait to have her back in my arms. After this is all over, I am taking her home.

"You don't have to do this, Aria," I told her as Aries nodded in agreement.

"I hate you, but you are still my sister," Aries stated, frowning.

Aria smiles, "You love me."

"Ew, vomit," Aries joked before looking at me, "We're ready."

"Fabio," I call out, "Let's move."

Alyssa Angel, I'm on my way to save you.

Sitting in the car, I watch on the iPad screen as Aria follows Jared into the house of the Gambinos where everyone was held captive. There were guards walking around outside, greeting them before they entered. Aria and Jared both have tiny cameras clipped onto them so that we can see what's happening.

"Sir Jared,"

"What is that bitch Claire doing there?" Malu asked when she saw her appearing on the screen.

ALYSSA

I was sitting in a room with Carina for 2 hours already. I'm not sure where the other's are held, but I can hear Arthur screaming in anger nearby. Carina's face looks better than the last time I saw her. There she is, laying on the cold floor with a thin blanket over her that I found in the corner of the room.

"Are you okay?" I ask her quietly, sitting down beside her.

She nods slowly, "How about you? Is your baby okay as well?"

I smile at her a little, "We're okay... I can't wait to get out of here though."

"Same here, but I still haven't found my sister," She sighs sadly.

Reaching for her, I rub her back to try comforting her. She gives me a grateful smile, then closes her eyes, trying to get more rest.

"By the way, you looked like you knew Xander," I said quietly and she nods at me.

"He dated my sister," She blows out a breath, and I look at her with wide eyes at the new information.

"...You're Lea's sister?" I ask her in shock and she sits up to look at me better.

"Yes, you know her? Have you seen her around?" She asked, looking at me with so much hope.

But how do I tell her that Lea's been long gone? And that I'm brought here as a replacement?

It will surely crush her.

"Carina," I take a deep breath, "Your sister-"

I didn't get to finish because the door slams open, making the both of us stand up quickly. Carina stands closer to me as we both watch Tarrah come into the room, dressed in her night gown and she doesn't look to be in the right state of mind.

It was the gun in her hand, pointed directly at me that scared me.

"You brought this upon yourself," Tarrah spoke up, pulling the trigger.
