Colby's pov

I wake up with a bad headache I groan and sit up rubbing my head I look up and notice Sam isn't here I furrow my brows then I get up and go to the bathroom "oh baby" I go next to him and rub his back as he pukes in the toilet. He finished and I flush the toilet and I pick him up "i-it hurts" "I know baby I know" I rub his back a bit and walk back to the bedroom and lay him on it and he snuggles up in the covers in a ball I sigh and I grab my phone checking the time 9:48 "baby I'll go make some breakfast" he nods and I kiss his forehead and go to the kitchen

I grab the two plates and I bring them to the room and set them in the bedside table and I leave and grab waters along with the medicine and I go back in the room. I sit on the bed and look at Sam and his eyes are closed I gently put my hand on his forehead and he's not as hot as before I sigh and I cup his cheek caressing it "baby" he whines "sorry but the foods done" his eyes flutter open and he smiles looking at me and I smile back. He sits up and stretches a bit and I hand him the food which is two pieces of toast and some fruit just so he won't throw up again "tank woo" I nod and smile and we eat

"I done daddy" he hands me his plate and I take it and I stack it on mine and put it on the side table "daddy" "yeah baby" "my head hurts" "oh I'm sorry wanna take some medicine" he nods and I hand him a pill and his water and I also take one since my headache is still there. We cuddle and we watch tv Sam falling asleep almost immediately and I decide to go back to sleep as well to so my headache can settle a bit

"Wake up" Sam says and pokes my face I groan and go to turn but then I realize he's on top of me so I force my eyes open "yay!" Sam squeals I hum still half asleep not really knowing what's happening "no daddy" he says as my eyes slowly close I hum again closing my eyes fully and fall back asleep. I wake up again but my eyes are still closed "wake. up. nwow. pwease. daddyyy" He says in between kisses and he still kisses me over and over again I kiss back and he squeals "nwow opwen wour eyes" he says in a very childish voice I smile a bit and I open my eyes and look at up at him "yay!!" He giggles I chuckled and sit up and rub my eyes and I put my hands on his hips "now why'd you wake me up" he giggles "m' sowwy I bwored I pwayed wif my tuffie and watch tv but I 'till bwored" I hum "do you not have anything to play with at your place" he shakes his head "ony mwy oder tuffie" "how old are you right now" "uh I tink tree or fwour" I smile "well I have something you might like to do" his face lights up "what it!" I chuckle "why don't you go in the living room and I'll bring it out" "otay!" He jumps off the bed and runs out the room. I go to the bag of things I got for him and I grab something and then I go to the living room "what it daddy!" He giggled I sat on the couch across from him "ready" he nodded and I put it in front of me and he squealed "I wuv todering!" He grabbed the crayons and coloring book from me and he went on the floor and laid on his stomach and started coloring I smiled and I turned on a cartoon and I grab my phone and check the time 10:34

Sam stood up and he walked over to me and sat next to me and started coloring again I smiled and wrapped my arm around him "oh daddy" "yeah baby" "my birfdway in two days!" He squealed excitedly "that's great baby but why didn't you tell me sooner" "oopsie I sowwy" he giggled I smiled and kissed his head and he continued coloring I grabbed my phone and I texted the group

Colby: Sam's birthday is in 2 days

Jake: your telling us that now!?

Devyn: I'm spoiling him!!

Tara: what should we do for him

Aaron: idk but he enjoyed the water park and amusement park should we take him there

Jake: how about an arcade??

Elton: I say a camping trip!

Corey: that would be fun
