Niccolaio's POV

"Mom, alis na ko."

I hugged her when I saw her in the living room watching K-Drama. Good thing because she won't force me to stay dahil masyado siyang focus sa panonood.

Its already 12 in the afternoon and Mom forced me to stay for brunch kaya ngayon lang ako makakauwi. Dapat mamayang gabi pa pero kailangan kong pumunta sa restaurant. Kakabalik ko pa nga lang tapos di na naman ako papasok.

Mom even called the manager assigned today to tell him that I won't go to work. Hindi ko na lang sinabi na pupunta ako ngayong tanghali wala naman magugulat. Alam nilang bigla na lang ako sumusulpot don.

Nagdrive muna ako pauwi para maligo at magbihis at para na din kunin ang Chef's uniform ko. After kong magayos, dumeretso na ako sa Resto, don na lang siguro ako maglalunch dahil busog pa naman ako.

I wasn't expecting na may gulo kaagad pagkadating ko sa resto. The restaurant have 2 backdoors, one is for the kitchen, one is straight from dining areas. Sa backdoor connected sa dining ako dumaan kaya walang nakapansin sa pagdating ko. I decided to observe muna lalo na nung mapansin kong may nilapitan na customer ang manager. hmm

I squint my eyes towards them to see them clearly. Imagine my shock when I saw a beautiful lady eating foods that is clearly not from the resto.

I  observe them as they escort her outside. That is why I witnessed what Chelsea, one of my employee, did.

She looked so calm talking to the manager yet her eyes held sharpness. Before I could even go to them, one of my employee, Emman, noticed me. I gestured him to keep quiet and he nodded before going back to their station.

I decided to go after them. I opened the door of the manager's office and he and Chelsea looked shocked. I stilled when the lady held her gaze on me. How can someone be this beautiful when angry?

I mentally face palmed when I realized what am I thinking. I interfered to their conversation and I know that Chelsea is not telling the truth because I even saw her earlier rolling her eyes to the woman. Fortunately, the woman didnt want the matter to affect both her and the resto that is why she just made Chelsea promised not to degrade other people again, ever.

I dont know what is happening to me but I cant seem to look away. I know im being creepy pero di ko din alam bakit gustong gusto siyang titigan ng mata ko. yow eyes sa kanya kana lang ayaw mo na ata sakin eh.

I almost smirked when she winked at me but I held it in. Baka kung ano pang isipin niya. She walked away and held a smile. When will I see her again? I wonder.

I decided to settle the matters inside the resto kaya nagpatawag ako ng meeting. Buti na lang walang reservation for 6-11pm kaya I decided na magsara ng maaga.

"Good evening everyone. I know nagtataka kayo bakit ako nagpatawag ng meeting. I just want to know what happened here nung wala ako."

"Boss, ganon pa rin po. Wala naman pong malaking gulo na nangyari. Maganda din po yung mga feedbacks satin sa website." one of them said.

Kahit na may position ang bawat isa sa kanila dito sa resto, I still want us to be close like a family para makapagtulungan sa bawat trabaho at walang gulo na mangyari.

Parang magkakaibigan lang ang turingan namin and I am glad na tama ang desisyon kong pagkatiwalaan sila.

After catching up with them pinatawag ko si Chelsea sa office ko. I know na kailangan kong may gawin dahil hindi ito yung first time na may nagyaring ganto at si Chelsea din ang inireklamo.

Sometimes we have to do something for them to realize that what they're doing is wrong. Time will come that she will have to leave and live her own life, and having that attitude is not good for the health. Baka mapahamak pa siya. I treat my employees like my family kaya dapat lang na itama ko din sila sa mga bagay na alam kong mali na ginagawa nila. Its for their own sake naman.

"Sir pinatawag niyo daw po ako?" sabi ni Chelsea pagkapasok niya sa office ko.

"Alam kong alam mo na regarding sa nangyari kanina kung bakit kita pinatawag."

napayuko siya ng marinig ang sinabi ko.

"Chelsea, i was there watching bago pa man lapitan ng manager yung babae kaya nakita ko din kung pano mo siya trinato bago siya lumabas. Its not a good attitude to have Chelsea."

"Sorry po sir." nakayuko pa din niyang sabi.

"Ayoko lang na dumating yung time na mapahamak kayo because of that attitude. Its not healthy. You guys are like a family to me. Kaya sana hindi na maulit ito ha."

I smiled at her to make her feel relax. I am not mad, I just dont want her to carry that attitude while growing up. Its not good to have that attitude.

"Trust me when I say, most powerful people tend to be scary at some point of their lives. Like what if the lady earlier decided to put you behind bars? we wont be able to win or even defend you Chelsea. So I hope you learned your lesson. And remember that we dont have the right to judge someone just because we want to or just because we can. okay?"

"yes sir sorry po talaga. promise po di na mauulit." nakailang yuko siya habang humihingi ng pasensya. Ngumiti na lang ako sa kanya at pinauwi na siya.

I decided to stay a little more longer dahil wala din naman akong gagawin sa bahay. Nagbukas lang ako ng mga socila media accounts ko sa phone.

Guilia made those accounts para daw hindi ako mahuli sa trends at maging updated ako lagi. Para na din daw madagdagan ang nagfafollow sa kanya at nag lilike ng mga posts niya.

I opened my Instagram acc. Ang finafollow ko lang naman eh family ko, yung mga baliw na barkada ko, friends nung nagaaral pa ako at mga sikat na resto at chefs. Di naman ako active dito. Nageenjoy lang talaga ako manood ng mga pagluluto at mga designs na pang restaurants.

Nagexit din naman ako pagkatapos kong iheart ang mga picture ng brat na yon tsaka ko binuksan ang twitter ko. Di rin ako masyado nagtitweet puro lang retweet mostly ng mga pagkain at pagluluto.

I was scrolling through my phone when I accidentally swiped the screen and lumabas yung mga trending. I was surprised kasi trending don ang restaurant, 2nd spot. I clicked it immediately kasi baka may reklamo or may kung anong nangyari. Pero buti na lang at puro mga good reviews naman ang nakalagay.

I got curious kaya bumalik ako don sa list ng trends at tiningnan ko yung ibang nakalagay. 1st spot is #Tia'sRestoJourney. I clicked it and ang daming tweets na nakalagay and dito din pala galing yung tweets about sa resto. They are all mentioning someone named @tialorraine. I clicked it to feed my curiosity and I was smiling while scrolling through her tweets.

So she is a famous vlogger. I smirked to myself. I dont know what happened, but I found myself clicking…
