They stayed for another night in the inn. Levi insisted to make sure that Eren recovered before going back to the road again as well as his ankle but Eren knew they both needed another night in the inn and it is not to let their petty injuries heal.

After they finished their meal, Eren went down and informed Erwin about their decision before returning to his mate that was waiting for him in their room. The blonde was ecstatic to know that Levi allowed him to join them and he was more than happy to stay another night in the inn to finally get some peaceful sleep.

Upon entering their room, Eren was a little disappointed to see Levi sleeping soundly. Walking to towards his mate, Eren smiled as he tuck Levi in bed. They did get some sleep last night but Eren didn't missed the times when Levi woke up, high alert of his surroundings. Letting his mate rest, Eren went to the shops and bought a few things. He ordered some cakes as snacks for their journey.

Returning to their room, Eren was quite surprised to found his mate still sound asleep. The Alpha then decided to pull out the fabrics, needle and threads as he continued Levi's dress.

It was past noon when Levi woke up, dazed and obvious that he still needed more sleep. Eren got him a meal and let the raven sleep after. The Alpha figured that Levi had been on guard through out the journey. He knew Levi was keeping an eye on Erwin, perphaps his mate haven't slept that much then because he was on guard due to the late commander's presence. Eren was not sure.

Evening came and Levi was up and about. He demanded to take a bath first then Eren. The Alpha complied, he really doesn't mind at all. Drying his hair, Eren walked towards their room.

Upon opening the door, Levi was already laying on the bed. Blue-gray eyes shine with the single candlelight on the stool. With quick steps, Eren slowly lifts the covers and lay down beside.

"So," Eren asked, looking up in the ceiling. "How's your ankle?"

"You're dumb aren't you?" Levi rolled his eyes on him. "It's healed now."

"Just asking," Eren lay on his side and grinned at him.

Levi gritted his teeth, clearly Eren was stalling things. Getting impatient, the raven took matters to his own hands. He leans over and kissed him
