Ch 6: Waking Up Wei

Today Yunlan was quite stressed. He went to Wei and started shaking him. "Why don't you wake up Wei why? Are you this weak? You were my strength and if you give up like this then what will happen to me? Huh?", but still no response.

Yunlan was very hyper now. "Stop playing with me. Why are you so stubborn? Stop being selfish. Do you know how lost I'm feeling seeing you like this lying on bed lifeless? I know it was my mistake Wei. But for how long are you going to punish me. I can't bear it anymore Wei. I can't.",said Yunlan breaking down.

Yunlan picked up a knife kept there for fruits. "I know I'm forcing you too much but if you won't wake up now, then I will end up my life here itself.", said Yunlan as he held the knife near his wrist.

Suddenly a hand held Yunlan's hand with knife. As Yunlan saw it tears welled up his eyes. Wei had opened up his eyes which were filled with fresh tears. "Ah Lan!", said Wei softly. "Xiao Wei!", said Yunlan as he hugged Wei.

The eyes that he was longing to see were open now. The sweet voice that he was longing to hear reached his ear.

They remained in each other's embrace for a while and kept crying. "Ah Lan where is my Lan lan?", asked Wei and Yunlan remained silent for a while but then, "Our baby reached heaven Wei. He is seeing us from there." Hearing it Wei remained silent and wiped out his tears. His face became expressionless.

"Let's go home Wei.", said Yunlan and Wei nodded. Then they left to home.

On their way home, Yunlan tried to  speak with Wei but he remained silent.

When they reached home, Yunlan cleaned up Wei and made him eat food prepared by him. Then he made Wei take rest. "Don't sleep for too long.",said Yunlan to Wei and again Wei nodded.

Yunlan also laid down on the bed beside Wei but he was upset because his Wei woke up but was not at all fine. He was worried because Wei was not speaking at all and remained blank.

When Wei slept, Yunlan held him in his embrace. 'I know Wei you are in trauma because of that incident. I will try my best to bring your happiness back.', thought Yunlan and slept with Wei.

In the morning, Yunlan woke up first and got ready and prepared breakfast. Wei seemed to be actually tired that's why he woke up late when Yunlan made him wake up.

Wei got ready and then they both had the breakfast together. Yunlan was not a good cook like Shen Wei but he can cook some basic dishes.

"Xiao Wei get ready today because I'm going to take you on a date.", said Yunlan and Wei nodded, he just agreed without even asking anything. Yunlan was a bit annoyed because Wei didn't speak at all and just nodded to everything he asked.

Yunlan took Wei to a date on a tourist's bridge. It was a beautiful bridge to walk on. Many people used come their to enjoy the sight. First they ate ice cream then some snacks. But still Wei's mood did not change. They both were standing near one of the edge just seeing the nature. Then Yunlan saw a person selling roses. "Wei wait here. I'm coming.", said Yunlan as he ran and bought a rose.

When Yunlan was coming back what he saw shocked him. His Wei was trying to jump off the bridge and before Yunlan could stop him, he already jumped off.
