Tari x Reader

Friends arrive, to open up

After eating the ramen you two made together you had convinced Tari to show how good she is. She gave a competitive smile while giving an adorable chuckle. A few minutes in you hear a whining from upstairs that sounds like your computer.

"Hey Tari, do you hear that?" You ask gently tapping her shoulder which made her pause the game to listen too.

"Kinda, sounds like something's working overtime." She said looking upstairs.

"Maybe I should-" you began before being interrupted by an unholy commotion of pain and a loud CRASH from your room.

"What's going on here?"

"Get off me"

"Where are we?"

"It doesn't look so bad"

"Not this again."

"I-a just wanna go-a home"

There was a pregnant pause as the two of you approached the door before the voices spoke all at once.

"I'M SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU!" was shouted and some chattering could be heard before you hesitantly barged in on the reunion. You were met with the oddest bunch of characters hugging each other on the floor in front of you. They looked shocked to see you then noticed the bluenette beside you.

"TARI! YOU'RE OK!" They said jumping and dog piling her into a group hug. Tari to her credit was trying to hold back her tears that you were right about her friends not hating her. You smiled at the sight then cleared your throat after a few minutes. Everybody went rigid and backed up to give everyone space. One of Taris friends walked up to you before extending a hand.

"Sorry for coming in unannounced but my name is SMG4. And these are my friends, Bob, Boopkins, Luigi, Saiko, Meggy, and Boop...Kins?" He said finally noticing the elephant in the room. "Oh this can't be good." He muttered.

"Lemme guess you got 'snapped' out of existence." You say not knowing why but seeming to slightly understand what was going on.

"Kinda, apparently we can't exist if we were never friends with one character in our world." He clarified.

You looked dumbfounded. "That's kinda stupid unless the people that separated the one friend kept them separated, you should have been able to meet again if you tried hard enough yes?" You asked.

"Well with a remote that controls all of YouTube-" SMG4 began.

"What?" You asked cutting him off. "I mean if that's how the algorithm is run-"

"We aren't from here, different world different rules." SMG4 butt in. To which you tilted your head back and forth. You frowned a bit but decided to not question it further because he was in a way right.

"As I was saying an old enemy of mine has with a remote to control YouTube erased the versions of us that were friends with him. It's all up to him to fix it." He said begrudgingly.

"Is that a bad thing?" You ask confused.

"Oh um... he's an idiot. To the highest degree of dysfunctionality." SMG4 Stated.

"Oh, gotcha." You reply. You look at Tari "how you holding up?" You ask as you saw she had a small frown. She perks up her head.

"Oh sorry but... that girl I faced... I swear I met her somewhere before." She said looking concentrated.

You gently knock her out of her concentration to reassure her that when things get fixed she could worry about it then. She seemed to hesitate but nodded with a small smile.

That's when the others decided to pipe up.
