When Did I Get Chosen for a Scouting Misson?

Before anyone could speak a word a flash appeared and made everyone back up in a bit of fear until a dinosaur lady came out to which you freaked out a bit.

"WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?!" You say grabbing onto Tari involuntarily making her blush a bit but gently pries you off her.

"That's Susan W. The head of YouTube, in our world at least." SMG4 said rubbing the back of his neck. "Wait, how did you find us?" He said facing the lady.

"Well it's easier than you think with the residue from the remote leaving a trail." She responded as if it was the most simplest thing ever.

SMG4 shrugged and said it made sense. To which Susan collapsed.

"Susan! What's wrong?" SMG4 asked rushing up to her side but was stopped by her hand.

"Loosing a lot of my power outside of my realm of control." She rasped out getting shakily back up. "Let's head over to the realm of dead memes quickly." She preferred.

The Crew picked you up and carried you with them. "H-Hey! Why am I being carried? I don't belong in your world right?"

SMG4 looked at you. "One of the girls likes you. And would probably kill us if we didn't take you with us."

"Huh, ok I guess that makes sense. Carry on." You said resigning yourself to your new fate.

Everyone else knew but you that Tari had been blushing since you had held her. her mind had been going a mile a minute with internal debates about what her feelings were before shaking herself out of it to join the crew and you through the portal.

On the other side there was a shrinking portal to the regular realm. Susan points at you. "I need you to go through that portal."

"What why?" You ask.

"SMG3 doesn't know you or your affiliation. You are our eyes until we can get a visual on Mario." She explained.

"Makes sense." You sigh as you head towards the portal.

"Good luck!" Tari calls out to you. You smiled back and waved.

"Thanks Tari." You said then took a deep breath and step through and then the portal closed behind you.

Everyone looked at Tari with knowing smiles to which Tari hid behind her hands with a beet red face.

Meanwhile you had begun walking around trying to act inconspicuous as possible while gawking at the intracasies of the world. Soon you see a group walking past.

"That must be SMG3 and his crew." You mutter keeping on walking past towards a spire that looked extremely out of place in a city setting. Eventually you came across peach's castle or SMG3 castle.

"A good place to check as any." You sighed as you checked the doors which weren't locked.

"Big ego, itty bitty thinking space." You wisecracked as you looked into basically the void of it weren't for a frozen in place Mario illuminates.

"Well that bites..." you mutter getting slowly closer before hearing Susan's voice.

"Good work, stay hidden. The next set of events needs to happen without him being distracted, got it?" You looked shocked but nodded and stayed in the shadows as Mario was freed and went after SMG3.

"Now what?" You mutter as you look into the void.
