The gang gathered in an empty field near a church and put down the new body of their old friend Axol inside a pentagram.
"Everyone clear on how this works right?" You ask as you finished making a salt ring just in case things went south. Everyone nodded as you all grabbed hands with Mario "strangely" absent.
As you began to chant everyone else watched as the circle glowed and axols body float a bit before his eyes opened wide and he sat up as you finished up.
"Guys?" He asked looking around and at himself. "How did-?"
"Long story but we got a sample of your DNA before your possession." You explain making him tear up.
"Thank you... but I'm ok with not going on any more adventures." He said.
"You won't..." Melony said. "Not like what you remember." She said crying at the sight before her. He gently moved to the edge.
"Melony, I'm so glad to see you." He said smiling softly. He put his hand out to each but hit an invisible wall.
"Salt circle?" He asked everyone nodded. He nodded back.
"Understandable. Wanna make sure that he's not here." Axol said gently rubbing his face before noticing he had no scar either.
"Wow... you made a whole new body..." he muttered as the circle glowed again and Axol held his head and yelled in agony as a purple smoke billowed out of his mouth.
"Curses! How did you know!" A demonic voice of the once powerful zero growled out.
"Had a feeling you'd try this to lower our guard. That's why I'm prepared for this kinda thing, Tari if you will?" You ask as Tari pulls out a trap and proton pack.
"That's copyrighteeeeeeeed!" He screams as he's contained and axols body lays unmoving in every way except the slow rise and fall of his chest.
"Y-you did it!" Melony says shocked and happy.
"Don't touch him just yet, he needs to recover and fully bond back with his body. Which could take at least a month." You say looking at your brother.
"I never got to thank you for your help." You say giving him a pat on the back.
"Anything for young true love man." He says gently pushing you away.
You and the gang take Axol to the hospital where he's monitored and fed until he recovers completely.
You then hold up the trap with a rowdy 0 inside before giving an evil smile to it.
"Well zero I'm going to have fun with your little formless spirit." You say as lightning flashed outside.
"Happy Halloween!" You say in a dark voice heading to E. Gadds lab cackling.
