Why you never split the party

You and Tari had come back from a date to see the castle in a state of active disrepair. When you guys looked around you heard of the plan to go into the dark web to retrieve the pod SMG4 had come to the kingdom in.

"Ok, so who's going on this trip?" You ask as Tari stayed out of sight having heard some horror stories about that place.

"Well me, Mario, and Bob apparently. Were just trying to convince Axol to let Melony join us." SMG4 explained as Axol rolled his eyes.

"Let Axol accompany her and he might let her." you offered to the Aussie to which Axol glared with a slight blush.

"How do you know that?" he asked you.

"I'm dense, not braindead." you said flatly. SMG4 just shrugged it off.

"You gonna join us too?" he asked.

"Not this time. I promised Tari that I wouldn't do anything crazy after our date. But you guys have fun, and a word of warning; Don't Split The Party." you warned ominously. the guys looked at each other in slightly worried glances but nodded as they set up to head out.

You and Tari saw them off, none of the guys noticing that Tari had put on a dress with her hoodie over the top.

"I was certain bob would've noticed." she said letting out the breath and anxiety she was holding fiddling with the edge of her hoodie.

"I've noticed that when there's something that's plot relevant, situational awareness is thrown out the window." you say gently hugging her to your side making her blush.

"You're just lucky you got me into one of these since that last one i put on was way to short and snug for me to be comfortable with."(A/N: Cookie to those who understand what she means) she said with a small hint of annoyance as she took off the hoodie.

"That's why I decided to come along with this trip, to make sure it didn't happen again." You said kissing her cheek making her blush more and gently shove you.

"Stoooop. You're being too suave tonight. i can't keep up." she said smiling a bright smile. you smile as well and lift her face to meet your gaze.

"You look beautiful in anything you wear." you say kissing her to which she returns. your phone then began to ring. you both sigh as you answer.

"What happened?" you ask.

"We lost bob." SMG4 said sounding like he was gonna get a verbal lashing. you just sigh.

"Just get back to the castle, we are gonna have to do a possession check on bob." you say as who else but bob shows up still watching his ipad.

"Ok, got it were coming back from the pod now." the Aussie said sounding relieved and hung up.

"What happened?" Tari asked holding her hoodie in her arms.

"Mission success with one lost member." you said gesturing to bob. she sighed but hooked an arm in yours.

"Lets head back home. i think the guys can handle this from here." she said smiling softly leading you to the door. you smile back

"That sounds like a great idea." you say heading out back to your place not noticing an eye floating towards the castle.
