KABOOM!! An explosion occurred outside the school. Immediately, after this, all the students and teachers rushed out of the building and evacuated the area. Meanwhile, Emily was still fighting the winged beast.
She swung her sword as the beast dived down and attacked her with its talons. However, her aim was off and kept tripping on herself and dodging the beast's attacks.
Emily then remembered the move she used the other day and thought about using it. She readied herself and her sword burst into flames as she swung it around forming into a flaming rose. But as she thrusts it forward, the flaming petals missed its target and the winged beast swooped in and whacked her with its wings tossing her out of the building.
As she was falling, she managed to pull herself together and stabbed her sword at the side of the building and stopped her fall.
"Well, that ended horribly," she muttered,
At the corner of her eye, she saw the winged beast diving down and ready to charge straight at her. A split second before that, Emily readied herself and jumped onto the back of the beast.
"Now let's try flying somewhere else shall we?" she said pulling the feathers and the beast reacted harshly as it flew high up into the air.
It then began to spin around hoping to get rid of Emily off its back but she held on tight. When the beast stopped, it immediately dived down, grabbed her by the arm, and slammed her to the ground near the soccer field. CRASH!!
"Ow." Emily moaned,
She slowly got up to her feet but her vision started to blur just a bit. Until the winged beast landed in front of her and whacked her to the side with its wing. THUD!!
"Y'know, earlier you could've at least said "Hello" and we could just talk this one out," Emily said,
But the beast wasn't having any of that and screeched at her so loud it blew her right through one of the goalposts.
"I'll take that as a "No"," she commented.
She then noticed that the winged beast is floating up into the air and about to dive down at her. However, she quickly got out of the net she was tied to and swung her sword around as it bursts into flames and unleashed another barrage of flaming rose petals at the winged beast. KA-BOOOOM!!!
Emily dropped her sword as she fell to her knees and breathed a sigh of relief. "Well, at least that clears up this problem," she said,
She then picked up her sword and started to leave but she trailed to a halt. She slowly turned around and noticed something else. As the smoke cleared, the winged beast survived the attack and grew in size as it flapped its wings intimidatingly.
"Uh, is it just me or did your growth spurt hit you way overboard," Emily commented,
The winged beast just stared at her coldly with its menacing grey eyes. It then screeched at her but this time it was so loud, it knocked half of the grass on the soccer field out of the way.
Emily managed to hold on but she was shocked after the damage the beast had done.
"Let's be honest, we both know that I ain't gonna pay for your crap," she said,
The winged beast flapped its wings and charged straight at her. Emily dodged the attack, aimed her sword as flames burst, and hit the beast. But this time, it did not affect the beast one bit.
Instead, it grew larger. Its talons sharper than ever, wings wider and edgier, not to mention that its head looks even more frightening than a Halloween mask.
"I hate to admit but you look kinda cool," Emily commented,
