Suddenly the doorknob twisted as the security guard casually walked into the room and noticed that no one else inside.
"Now where did I put my car keys," the security guard muttered to himself as he looked around the room lifting every pile of paper away just so he could look for his car keys,
On the other hand, while the security guard was looking around the room, Rose Knight was quiet and stood still at the corner of the room but what's more, is that she was invisible the entire time!
Rose Knight kept quiet and holding her breath hoping that the security guard wouldn't find out about the opened laptop and the flash drive. Remembering that fact, she focused her sights on the laptop and noticed that the progress bar is gone and the flash drive is still plugged into the laptop, hidden under the pile of papers on the side.
'I wonder if the download was complete,' she thought to herself,
The security guard was still looking around the room for his car keys. Rose Knight then looked at the door hanger and noticed that there was a key dangling on it. She quietly tip-toed her way to the door and flicked the key of the door hanger and let it drop to the ground. Clink!
"Huh?" the security guard was confused as he turned around only to find the keys on the floor. "Oh! So, that's where I put them," he immediately grabbed the car keys and walked out of the room closing the door behind him.
After that, Rose Knight let out a huge sigh of relief as she noticed that she became visible again.
"Wow. I honestly did not even know that I had this ability but I'm glad it came out handy," Rose Knight muttered to herself. Then she shifted her focus and walked up to the laptop and turned on her earbud, "Did you manage to download the files?"
"Yeah, I did," Liam replied, "How on earth did you manage to do that?"
"I'll explain it to you as soon as I get out of here," Rose Knight told him, "Is the coast clear?"
Liam checked the monitor in his room and scanned the area, "Yep, you're in the clear. Now, get out of there ASAP," he said,
"I'm way ahead of you," Rose Knight said as she walked up to the door and peeked through it. Seeing as though no one's around, she ran towards the small elevator, got inside it, and went straight towards the rooftop.
By the time she got to the rooftop, she was suddenly hit by a punch that came out of nowhere! BAAM!! THUD!! Rose Knight rolled to the side but when she got up, she realized that the flash drive was not in her hands!
"Looking for this?" someone asked,
Rose Knight looked ahead and is a little surprised that the mysterious figure was there and holding the flash drive in his hand.
"Give it back!" she demanded,
"Oh, is this what you were looking for?" the guy in the black cloak said then smirked, "Come and get it,"
