In a barrage of miniature apocalypses manufactured by the most powerful government in the world, the moon was torn apart, ice sheets expanded from the north, entire communities were systematically poisoned, the rainforests were burned. Thousands of years before that, magical stones with the ability to protect life were created and scattered throughout civilization. Now, Pana and their friend, the timid yet trustworthy dragon Waveskimmer, find one of those stones. Pana has only ever known the frozen northern village they were born in, but when they are forced to flee their home after an unfortunate misunderstanding, they discover that the world is bigger than they could have imagined, and that there are other pockets of survivors out there who are all facing their own hardships. Together with Waveskimmer, they begin traveling the world, meet new people, and try their best to undo the mistakes of the past. But when their own past catches up with them, the fate of the world is thrown into jeopardy once more.

Warning: this is not for kids or people sensitive to triggers. I tend to write on the dark side, just so you know. There will be no smut, but there will be mentions of sex, abuse, abandonment, a little bit of swearing and this list could be updated as the story goes on. I usually don't write romance, but I want to get better at it, so here we go... About updates, I wish I could say I will be posting at least once a day but I know that won't be true because I'm currently editing my book that I am publishing this summer (2020) and this story is more of just a de-stressor (is that a word) so the grammar and writing, especially the tense (it will most likely flip between present and past tense, just pretend it is all the same) might not be perfect, but I just felt like writing it.
