They all went inside the school and the day started from there. As time continued to tick by and for every bell that rang, Emily was walking around campus from one class to the next, and each time she was holding books for each subject.
BRINNNG!! Just as soon as the next bell rang, it was already their lunch break.
Emily let out a huge sigh of relief as she carefully placed her books inside her locker.
'I wonder what's gonna be on the menu later.' she thought to herself. As soon as she was done, Emily closed the locker and she bumped into another girl holding a drink and it spilled on her shirt.
"Hey, watch it!" the girl snapped,
"Oh! I'm so sorry." Emily said,
"Do you know how much this shirt costs!?"
"Uh, no."
"Well, now you kno---Wait a minute." the girl thought about it for a moment, "Where have I seen you before?"
"Excuse me?"
"You're that weirdo I saw the other day." the girl said,
Emily was confused, "Huh?"
The girl chuckled, "Of course you wouldn't understand. Because you've got the mind of a child."
"What are you even trying to say?"
"You're an idiot and I doubt your dad would be proud of that." the girl explained, "Oh wait. I forgot that you don't have one." she then pushed Emily to the ground and walked away.
On the other hand, Emily slowly stood up but stopped halfway. Suddenly, her mind went blank, and she heard words whispering into her ears nonstop: "Destroy."
She slowly turned around and focused her sights on the girl she bumped into. Just before she was about to do something, someone touched her shoulder and called out her name, "Emily?"
In a split second, Emily blinked, regaining her senses as she looked to her left and her mind went clear. "Huh?" she said,
"Are you okay?" Sarah asked,
"Uh, yeah. I'm good." Emily replied as she rubbed her eyes. "What's up?"
"I saw you as I was walking to the cafeteria." Sarah explained, "What happened?"
Emily didn't know what she was doing but after that feeling, she decided not to say anything about it "Nothing. Let's just go and get lunch." she said
"Cool,"
Then they both walked straight towards the cafeteria. A few hours later, the final bell rang and it was time to go home.
Emily carefully walked down the crowded hallway as she was lost in her thoughts. 'What exactly happened back there?' she thought to herself,
She tried to remember what happened but her mind was blank until she went out of the building. Emily heard something from afar and saw Sarah who was beside her bike, waving at her.
"Is this your bike?" Emily asked as she was astonished by the design.
"I was thinking about taking you home with me." Sarah said, "I finally got to use it since my uncle texted me about this."
"So cool!"
They both chuckled as they got on the bike and rode back to their neighborhood.
