Three Forces as One

Chapter 18:

I smiled at him and had a grand time creating a beautiful water show for the crowd. It was beautiful. People cheered and watched in awe. I finished with all of my water coming together in front of me, I curtsied and heard the cheers of the crowd. Then I felt Jack behind me and fire gripped my wrists I kicked and screamed for help as he pulled me to the back of the stage. Carter was next and he completely refused to show his ability until Jack threatened to hurt me. Then he showed it willingly, shooting water at several fire guards who fell down on the ground. I laughed and pushed Jack off of me and walked up to the front of the stage with Carter. He kissed me and I blushed and smiled. "People. We ran away from them. They took us from our homes and forced us to work for them. They will do this to you if you don't protect yourself. Be warned." We looked at the crowd and saw the fear in their eyes. I smiled at them and both of us waved as I felt Queen Nina come up behind us. We were both lifted in the air with her fire and we both let her lift us and I swished my dress gracefully as I was lifted.
"And our final person is Jocelyn, she will be showing you her ability" Joey stepped forward and without being forced she created vines that quickly surrounded her just like Rosey did when she was first created. I knew what she was doing and knocked Nina down while being chased by her guards. I turned around and told Carter to get inside, that they would be safe and I wouldn't. Carter said that he would fight with me and Joey could go. She heard us and in a flash of light disappeared. Jack controlled me and brought me to my knees. I sat there and screamed at the people "I warned you! Protect yourselves while you can!" I was slightly bloody from being dragged around and I was probably a horrid sight, but I hope they take my warning seriously.
I limped behind them and Carter supported me so I could walk, they decided I wasn't going anywhere with my injuries so I just sat there. We reached a small house in the middle of nowhere. I was taken inside where Carter and I were tied up back to back. We sat there Carter was struggling, but I had given up so I was just waiting. Jack walked over and pulled me out of the group tightening the fire rope around Carter. He pulled me over to the other side of the room. "I will go through the portal first with you and the other guards will come next with your friend. Then you will be taken back to Farana" "Of course Jack" I said curtsying. "We must find a name for you all to call me"
Jack grabbed me in his arms and jumped through the portal. Instead of ending up in the meadow, I ended up in the castle throne room. "Don't move, the others are coming and then you will be punished for running away. After that there's someone we want you to meet" I sat there in unbelievable pain as I moved up against a wall when I heard a voice. "Is my daughter here? Did they retrieve her?" It must be Kandace or Joey's mom. Too bad Kandace didn't come back, nor joey hopefully it's not either of their moms. I sat waiting as I coated myself with cool water. It sent some of the pain away, but there was nothing I could do so with one last agonizing scream I let the darkness take me as I saw all of the others enter the room.
