Three Forces as One

Chapter 3:

A/N That's a picture of the girl who doesn't like her.

A girl with bright green eyes and light brown hair stepped out of the crowd and said, "stop". "Why?!", not me said in a rude way. "Because Mina does not deserve to die, and how would you kill her anyways?", Not me said, "Like this!" ,and not me's hand pulled water and started wrapping and tightening it around Mina's neck. "STOP" ,the girl yelled, "I'll make a deal with you!" "And what deal would that be?", not me said. She said, "Here in our village sometimes people are thought of as "special" to the gods so they get sent back down to Earth after death, I believe that girl you have is special," I felt Mina tense in my arms at the word "special", "so if she doesn't come back to earth in 30 days. . .you can kill all of us," Several people said no, and told me that not all of them liked that deal. I fought to take my body back over, but before I could, not me agreed to the deal. Then I watched as the water spiraled in beautiful movements around Mina and then, it tightened up.

---------------- 30 days later ---------------

It was a hot morning, actually it was the first hot morning I had ever felt here. It felt even hotter as I walked toward the center of town. Today was the day that according to the deal I could kill everyone. I had convinced the mean side of me not to kill the children. "Ok everyone she is not here yet and you know what that means, now before I do what the deal told me to do I will tell you that I will not be killing the children, they can live and thrive on their own. I will be leaving and going home after I do this. So send up the girl who made the deal, I feel that some of you hate her anyways," I see a small movement in the crowd and I see the girl walking defiantly up to me, I smirked. "She will come!" the girl said. "Then where is she?" I said.

I felt a huge amount of heat behind me and heard gasps from the townspeople. I slowly turned around and saw Mina her hair looking like flames and her eyes, now gold. Then I saw her clothes, she was wearing a billowing orange dress and deep red moccasins. She looked at me and said, "Let go of her," I did. She then said, " Oh people, it is a happy day today. For I have been in a the heavens with the gods. They have told me of my ability, it is this," I watched intently as she moved out her hands and fire exploded from her finger tips it was not like my water, it had to be aimed and it would go straight, whereas my water could be moved around as I changed its form. I moved my arms and shot a spear of water at Mina, she screamed and fell down, but not before she sent a small ball of fire hurtling towards me. I screamed and fell down as it touched my skin. It was at that moment that I realized that she was the other girl from the story.

She stood up and set the trees around us on fire and I sent a tsunami heading her way. Then we saw an opening in the ground and she fell in and I followed. We were in a new place now we were in a green field with an ocean on one side. We both stood stunned for a moment. Then, I shot a spinneret of water at her, but she dodged it and it hit the ground.

We both stopped and watched as a person-like figure grew out of the spot that the water had hit. This person then created huge walls of vines around herself and started expanding them to the ends of the field. So Mina and I had to sprint to beat the wall. I landed in the ocean and Mina had nowhere to go so she called to the gods and a staircase of clouds appeared on front of her. She climbed into her new kingdom in the clouds.

There were little homes beneath the water, but I realized there was no one in them. There was no one anywhere. I then calmed down and began sculpting. I created a person in front of every house, but they did not come alive like the girl from the field. I then blew one breath of air into each of their mouths and they came to life all of them like me. Some were boys and some were girls. They all had different features except that all their eyes were blue and their hair was black.

Each time one of them was given life I felt myself weaken. I knew that if I brought one more person to life I would die. So I wrote my story in paint on the wall of their palace. Then I walked to the last girl and told her a prophecy, it was that another girl would come to life and she would have a special fate, one that would help all of the people forever. Then, with one breath I gave her life and everything went black.

"Where am I?" I said. I died I shouldn't be here I should be dead. I heard a voice say, "Come, child," I walked towards the voice and then I looked up and saw Rena the water god, then I knew where I was. I was where the gods lived, but normal people are supposed to go to a different place than the gods, I was very confused. Rena spoke again,"You are correct, you are not supposed to be here, but there is an exception. You and Mina will become the goddesses for your new kingdoms," "Who was that girl, the one from the field?" I asked. "She was the final piece of the prophecy, the place inside her walls is where your people and Mina's people cannot fight with each other. Any person who enters it will lose their power for the time that they are in its walls." "Ok", was the only thing I could respond with.
