A bet had begun between Kuroo and Daichi. The two had always had a small rivalry and they decided to settle it. With a game of chicken. They both agreed to the terms and the loser has to admit that the other is the better captain/their team is stronger.
When the player admits defeat they'll say "I chicken out."
