(You would think I would have more scenarios for these two smh)

Hinata was late. And that rarely ever happened. It made Kageyama worried- not that he showed it very well but to the mother crow, his panic was obvious. Suga was quick to try and reassure him- that Hinata was probably a bit more slow because of last night's rainfall or he was tired so going through the hills was just a bit more harder for him. Though Suga's attempt at calming him didn't seem to work.

Kageyama was beginning to pace back and forth and he wasn't even able to focus on practice. It shouldn't have been a big deal but he just had a bad feeling. And when the setter couldn't be settled Daichi had made him go out, hoping a run would put him more at ease. And Kageyama could only-stubbornly-agree.

He took the trail outside the school and though he wasn't focused on where he ran he took the path through the mountains. Or more specifically the path Hinata would use to get to the house.

A good fifteen to twenty minutes was all it took. Kageyama's running had come to a stop at the top of the hill, staying to the side as he almost immediately recognized the familiar bike.

The empty bike. Dropped at the edge right next to the barrier and he could feel his heart immediately sink as he saw that the barrier was broken.

Like someone had crashed into it.

He tried to keep calm, walking over to the side railing to further inspect. With every step was a little splash as the rainfall from last night wasn't a simple drizzle.

Kageyama thickly swallowed as he glanced down the small mountain, his heart was quick to speed up as he noticed the backpack dropped down the hill. And he wasn't stupid. He was already putting together the pieces as he attempted to slide down the mountain not wanting to tumble or slip.

But his vision was already blurry when he spotted him. Hinata was limp on the ground, mud being smeared all over him and there was blood. A lot of it. But his chest was still rising and falling. He was still breathing.

So with a trembling hand, Kageyama had grabbed his phone, falling to the floor right next to Hinata.
