(Update on that whole being sick thing. I'm not. Hear me out lmao- I've been feeling like death the past week and my tummy felt like it was being clawed from the inside. Along with a few other random symptoms, I assumed I was sick. I wasn't. It was just my period 💀 but instead of cramps, it's just constant pain. Love that)
It was a rather simple plan. Wait for Akaashi to get home and then ask if they could get a dog. Of course, it wasn't that simple. Did they already discuss it? Yes. What was the answer? They could get a fish. A fish! Bokuto didn't want a fish. He wanted a dog.
So, convince Akaashi. Wait for him to get home and convince him.
....Bokuto didn't wait for him to get home.
Nope, instead, he decided it wouldn't hurt to go to the local shelter just to see the puppies. There wasn't any harm in looking, right?
Wrong. Around three hours later he was back home, sitting on the kitchen floor and staring at the small puppy he got out of pure impulse. Without even talking it through with Akaashi.
This was fine. Bokuto could hide a dog until he somehow convinced Akaashi.
Plus he figured out the perfect loophole- just name the dog Fish. That way he got a dog and Akaashi got... Fish.
Who wouldn't want Fish? Bokuto for sure couldn't resist the puppies cuteness. She was an adorable furball. Maybe Akaashi would react the same.
Before Bokuto could come up with a decent argument of why this puppy was necessary to keep his train of thought was stopped when hearing a car pull up outside. He scrambled up at the realization that Akaashi was home.
Okay but if BokuAka and KuroKen lived together you can't tell me Bokuto and Kuroo WOULDN'T bring home animals out of pure impulse.
