Oikawa had gotten himself into trouble. Something Iwaizumi had said he was overreacting about and just needed to go for it. And Oikawa thought that was the stupidest advice he could've been given. (Which he should've known better to saying out loud as Iwaizumi had smacked him).
He had managed to score a date with his crush. Took a lot of convincing. Took a lot of flirting. But he had managed. Now that wasn't the problem. That was great! The problem was they were going ice skating.
And Oikawa's never ice skates. His goal to impress Suga had gone poof out the window. There was still hope, right? He could've been a natural. Maybe it wasn't even that hard. He was still determined after all.
By the end of today, he would amaze Suga with how great he was!
That confidence was gone by the time he was slipping on the skates.
It hadn't even been 15 minutes on the ice he had already lost count on how many times he's fallen. And Suga seemed to be enjoying it just a bit too much. He was light on his feet and unlike Oikawa, it hadn't been his first time skating. Maybe that's why he had suggested it. And Oikawa agreed without a second thought.
Every time Oikawa would fall or lose his balance Suga was giggling. If Oikawa wasn't so flustered he would've found it adorable.
"Here," After Suga composed himself from another laughing fit he had given mercy, holding his hand out for Oikawa.
Oikawa was more than happy to accept. Getting pulled back on his feet, he had wobbled for a moment but Suga's hold was secure helping him keep balance.
And it had worked. For the first twenty seconds.
Oikawa managed to trip over his own feet, clinging onto Suga for his much-needed balance. But Suga didn't expect the action, losing his focus, and next thing he knew the two were falling back.
