(A couple days later)

"I just want to thank everyone for joining us here today." Ben was saying.

"Sure, but why exactly are we meeting here?" Jay asked putting his hand up.

"Because our parents can't know we're all together." Ben answered.

"Isn't the whole point of this to bring us together though?" Carlos questioned.

"Yeah, but...." Ben was going to answer.

"Yes, but they can't know about our plan yet." Mal answered for him.

"Oh." Carlos and Jay both said nodding.

Mal looked back at Ben with a smile as he mouthed. "Thank you."

"Okay I'll see you guys the next time we meet." Ben was saying as everyone was leaving.

"Um Ben? Can I talk to you?" Evie asked standing beside him.

"Yeah of course." Ben nodded. He turned to face her and smiled.

Evie sighed before speaking. "I know you're really focused on this whole bringing us together, but what about the band?"

"What about it?" Ben questioned.

"Are we still gonna be a band? And still practice?" Evie was asking.

"Yeah. I'm just really focused on doing this right now." Ben responded.

"Right." Evie slightly nodded and started turning around.

Ben was watching her, then got an idea. "Wait Evie. I might have an idea."

Evie turned around and tilted her head.

(At Ben's garage)

Evie was playing the guitar. Then Lonnie started playing the drums.

Ben was dancing, then grabbed the microphone to sing.

"I couldn't if I tried." Mal grabbed the other microphone and sang.

"Oh, honey if I get restless." Ben sang and winked at Mal.

"Baby, you're not that kind." Mal sang and smiled.
