l : can you keep a secret?

There comes a moment in every fangirl’s life when they realize that their fan fiction and their daydreams just aren’t going to happen. Today was my day. I posted on all of my stories that I was going to take a break from Wattpad for a while and gather my thoughts.

Don’t get me wrong; I’m not going to quit being a fan. And yet, I’m never going to go to a carnival with Ashton, get a puppy with Luke, go skinny dipping with Michael, or stay up all night chatting with Calum. Some lucky girl will win their hearts, and the boys will be happy. I finally figured out that I am just leading myself on.

I need to get back to reality.

It’s not like I was a super popular writer anyways.

Sure, I got a few messages in protest, but every time someone is lead on, there is always a heartbreak afterwards. That pain is something that I'd rather avoid.

I read through a few of the messages.

“Please keep writing, I love your stories.”

 

“Don’t stop, please.”

 

“Hey, you never know, one of the boys could be reading your fan fictions right now! ;)”

 

The last one caught my attention.

It was more the creepy winking face than what they said. So I decide to message BlueSkyBoi23 (whoever that was) back.

AnnaBanana540: Sorry, but I doubt it.

 

BlueSkyBoi23: Hey! I’m not the one to lie, it could happen.

 

AnnaBanana540: Do you know how many fanfictions are out there? Millions… Kagilllions….

 

BlueSkyBoi23: Yeah, but you never know.

 

AnnaBanana540: Yeah? But I do….. soo….. I already told everyone that I am sorry, but I just don’t have it in me to continue something so worthless and such a waste of my time. Don’t get me wrong, I love writing, and I love reading, but this is somehow ripping me apart.

 

BlueSkyBoi23: What if I got one of the boys to read one of your stories?

 

AnnaBanana540: Doubt you could.

 

BlueSkyBoi23: Wanna bet?

 

AnnaBanana540: Why not? If you can get one of them to read it in... let's say... two weeks, then I will continue writing, but if you can’t, I won't.
